For the price, I think Park Tools could fit an audible 'beep' when the required NM is reached. Otherwise, watch carefully for the handle movement when he required NM is reached. Park Tools are quality manufactured products.

Had been using unknown to me a faulty torque wrench for some time not made by park tool, bought this one, together with the larger torque wrench i never need anything else. Just make sure you hold it at the handle as it's tempting to hold it further up - this will give you a wrong torque reading and likely you will over tighten. Anyway works well with park tool socket set and I find these to be reliable.

Fantastic bit of kit, really easy to use and precise setting for torque measurements. I've been able to confidently torque my carbon bits without fear of over-tightening. Feels really good quality, I ordered this and received the newer 5.2 model which is 3/8" so needed to change my sockets.Highly recommend this and have seen plenty of professionals using this in local bike shops which says a lot. I've tried cheaper torque wrenches in the past that haven't worked, don't waste money on cheap tools.!

Der Drehmomentschlüssel Park Tool TW-5.2 ist sehr gut und erfüllt meine Erwartungen vollkommen.Er ist hochwertig verarbeitet und lässt sich optimal bedienen.Allerdings stimmt die Produktbeschreibung bei Amazon nicht:-Es handelt sich um eine 3/8 Zoll Umschaltratsche und nicht um "1/4“ Umschaltratsche mit Adapter für 3/8“ Stecknüsse"-Es ist natürlich auch kein Adapter dabei-Er ist auch nicht 19,5 cm sondern 23 cm langAuf der Seite von Park Tool ist alles korrekt beschrieben.Wie gesagt ist das Produkt hervorragend. Nur die Beschreibung von Amazon ist fehlerhaft.

I bought it to replace calliper brakes on a (new) carbon road bike, since I was nervous about how to reach the 5-10 Nm torque range 'by guess'. Buying a tool as expensive as the parts it would install seemed excessive, but (A) I got it for a great price, and (B) it is really nicely made and feels solid and accurate. I used it subsequently to take off and clean the brakes on my other bike (after one year=7000 km), and I am glad I did, since dirt had gotten into the brakes that would eventually cause corrosion and corruption (particularly the rear brake). This I will do now regularly, and that way the tool will pay for itself. An experienced mechanic (who practiced with such a tool, and does adjustments on a very regular basis) probably has the correct torque feel in his/her hands. One thing ParkTools should provide is an option to buy 1/4" drive 4,5,6 mm hex inserts, since these sizes are difficult to get (I managed to get 5mm in 3/8" drive in my hardware superstore, but it was too fat to reach into one of the bikes' fork). Thus I ordered on amazon Capri Tools HEX Triple Square Spline Wrench Bit Socket Sets, S2 Bit, 10-Piece, which includes those (and steps up the drive size with increasing hex-mm sizes). The other main application will be to adjust carbon seat posts without fear of cracking them, although I have managed OK so far without a torque wrench.
