Poor and cheap
One of the most important things in life is your teeth, 2nd to that is your toothbrush. Now i still firmly believe in the standard toothbrush, brushing at your own pace and for a decent amount of time.I've tried several electric toothbrushes over the years, some great and leave a great looking finish, some rattle the brains and make your jaw ache. This however does neither.First the build quality is poor, it's very cheap feeling and flimsy. The on button is a pain to push and it feels like it will last a few weeks of regular use. It's aimed to be a fashion item and whilst it looks funky it fails to do what it's meant to do, clean teeth.

Sonic toothbrush
This toothbrush is perfect for travelling with. It's neat and compact and with its cover it's also hygienic. As it's battery powered you don't even have to worry about carrying a charger around.I've not used a sonic toothbrush before, and when I switched it on I thought I was going to be disappointed but I was wrong. Being sonic means it just cleans in a different method to an electric brush. In fact, the sonic cleaning reminded me of when my teeth are cleaned by my dentist.

Light and compact but could have been better
If I were judging this on looks alone, it would be 5 stars. The casing is great, very groovy, and it's light as a feather, barely heavier than a lipstick, so good for travelling. However, there are some annoying niggles. The toothbrush comes with two heads, but there's no way to tell them apart so if you are travelling with a partner you'd have to mark one in some way to avoid using each other's brushes. The instruction manual is hopeless and doesn't explain how a sonic toothbrush is different from a normal electric one, or how to use it most effectively. There's also no indication of what the battery life will be (not long, I suspect), which obviously would be very useful information. A few extra touches would have made this a much better product.

Looks Great- Helps Your teeth Look and Feel Fabulous
.‘If you want to save your teeth get an electric toothbrush’ was the advice my dentist gave me years ago and my goodness he has been proved right..The Ziggy is a really bijou and stylish battery powered toothbrush that is great for the holiday, gym, hand bag or office. Now don’t let it size fool you at full power this little brush can run up to speeds of 22,000 strokes a minute which is really going it some. The toothbrush itself is stylish and fashionable but don’t let its good looks and smart lines fool you it really does ‘cut the mustard’, go the full 9 yards and really works at cleaning your pearly whites. What I really like about this brush are the extras. You get a spare brush head which in a stroke (22,000 or less) cuts the price and increases the value of the brush twice. You also get a high quality non leak battery AAA to power the beast with.So the company have realty come up Trumps (and not Donald) with the extras.A couple of tips.Always replace the battery with a decent non leak one.The cheapo ones always leak and ruin the connections. When you use the brush just use a pea size amount and let the brush do the work for you.Spit out the toothpaste but don’t bother to rinse extensively because if you use a fluoride toothpaste swallowing small amounts means the protection actually gets to you teeth more efficiently than brushing. Thanks for reading.

Not the toy it looks like.
Because of its size, colour and price my first impression was that this is a toy toothbrush and not to be taken seriously like a Sonicare but I was surprised. It actually does have a medium strength sonic type of vibration that did give a really good clean with its medium firmness brush. The fact that there's a lid and it all closes up into a neat tube is a bonus so I would say this is great as an emergency brush or if you' re away for a couple of days. It takes 1 x AAA battery and comes with a spare head. At the time of review I could only find one Amazon listing for spare heads at about £9 a pair, hopefully that will improve when the brand takes off.

Travel toothbrush for occasional use ...
I had been looking for a compact electric toothbrush for my travel bag and this one looked ideal as it came with a cap to protect the toothbrush head.Comparing the toothbrush to my usual electric one, I can't say that I am overly impressed. I am used to the physical movement on the electric toothbrush but the sonic toothbrush works more on vibrations. When you brush your teeth, even the lightest pressure slows down the vibrations and it does not feel like the bristles are actually moving against the surface of the teeth. Perhaps this is as a result of the product being battery powered. One thing to note is that you have to avoid getting water on the "on-off" button - that seems like something of a design flaw in a product which is designed to be used in the bathroom and around running water. It comes with a battery and a spare toothbrush head but the toothbrush head is not a standard size (my usual braun toothbrush heads would not fit). Overall, it does not feel like much of a step up from a manual toothbrush - but that is fine for occasional use when travelling.
