Silverline Centre Finder 200mm Capacity (380687)

Enthusiastic amateur diy’er This is a great little gauge, I bought it at the same time as treating myself to a woodturning lathe and although I was able to find Centres the ‘old fashioned’ way this does the job instantly and probably more accurately. I read a review before buying which criticised the quality of the plastic used and have to disagree, this gauge is made of quite robust plastic, ok I know it wouldn’t stand up to being stood on but easily takes general ‘knocks’ around the workshop

This is really cheap, so I'm not going to be too critical... It's a little smaller than I realised (my own fault, but check the measurements!!) My main annoyance with this is that the plastic is a little thick at the point where you mark, which means that if you don't tip the pencil so that the very tip of the point is against the plastic, your line will be a little off... Most plastic rulers I've seen have a tapered edge to minimise this, but this has a square edge.

Simple to use and works well in finding centres

Good, useful addition to my workshop.

The product is superb if you've got the intelligence to understand how it works. I'm still trying to figure it out.

The item had been used and was scratched. It was not advertised as USED.

So easy to use, saves loads of time and is accurate. I find setting up wood to use on my lathe is so easy and quick with no fuss or bother using this to find your centres

es un articulo que tenia ganas de tener desde hace tiempo pero no me atrevia a comprarlo porque me parecia endeble y un dia me decidi y cuando lo racibi me lleve una grata sorpresa al comprobar que es un articulo de mucha calidad ya que es un plastico duro y muy resistente y funciona perfectamente.lo recomiendo a todo el que este indeciso.

Nothing special, but good quality, and is made very thick, so it is not flimsy plastic.

Parfait pour trouver le centre avant perçage de petites sections de bois genre tourillons, d'un diamètre d'environ celle d'un manche à balai. Ça fait le travail et l'outil est en plastique dur donc efficace à l'usage. Franchement pour le prix...Sinon achetez une vraie équerre à centrer ou fabriquez la vous même grâce aux nombreux tutos dispos sur le net. (Ce que je n'ai pas fait!)

Sehr einfach in der Handhabung. Leicht und trotzdem sehr stabil. Hiermit findet man bei runden oder quadratischen Bauteilen immer den Mittelpunkt. Qualität muss nicht immer teuer sein!
