This magnetic tape is excellent!.
This magnetic tape is excellent!...........just make sure you get A and B tape if you are attempting to attach tape to tape, as I wanted to do, (but you may just want to attach the tape to a magnetic metal surface like a Fridge?, in this case you won't need both........and both "A" and "B" attach to a Fridge fine, just not to each other, I've checked this out personally).............I am unsure about the "self adhesive" backing though?, I have used those self adhesive strips that are used in doors/windows to exclude wind and they have never been great...........so I used "Evo Stick multi purpose IMPACT instant contact adhesive" to stick the magnetic tape forever!, it works straight onto the tapes already adhesive strip, this will not be a problem (just take off the adhesive backing/saver).....but you need to apply it on with a tiny paint brush/whatever you prefer and time needs to be fairly quick..........but if you want your magnetic strip to stay attached for years then I recommend this process.........just an idea though, as I don't know how good the adhesive strips are on their own?, just going from experience from other adhesive strips, which were pretty un-adhesive.

Self Adhesive Magnetic Tape
The tape sticks very well and I found after sticking, it was still possible to remove it intact if needed for re-positioning - this might not be true after sometime. I purchased the tape to allow some Perspex (3mm thick, 50 cm sq approx) to be attached to a TV cabinet and easily removed when needed thus avoiding all the problems of hinges, drilling, sliding track etc. With a strip at the top and the bottom of the Perspex I found it held very firm. Having its matching component "Self Adhesive Magnetic Tape Side B" helped considerably as the attraction between the two types of tape is much greater and it also 'locks' into position when the two tapes are placed together. The magnetism outside of the tapes once placed together is very weak so unlikely to affect electronics unless placed very close. I have duplicated this review for its matching pair, “Side B”My only negative remark is that the tape came in two unlabeled sealable plastic bags from the supplier. As such I have no way of knowing which is "Side A" type and which is "Side B" type for if I wish to order more of a particular type. One tape has a fine groove running through its magnet surface, the other does not; so they are clearly distinguishable but which is "A" and which is "B"?

Not strong enough
It has good features such as it's flexible, can be cut into wanted size easily, and easy to install but it didn't hold the magnets that are built-in at the bottom of the shower curtain. When there's the plastic between the magnets the strip is not strong enough to hold the magnets in place eventhough I tried both sides of the curtain magnets in case of polarity issue. It might be useful for other purposes but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

This product is not good
The product is very poor and only something as light as a paper clip will stick to it.Not good enough.

Good but only for light work.
Easy to work with and very sticky but I would have to echo a lot of the reviews and say that the magnetic properties are lacking somewhat. But it costs a few quid and is a few millimetres thick. What are we expecting? For it to wipe every HDD in a one mile radius?I've used it to add dust filters in my PC case and they work perfectly. They are a bit thick though so clearance could be an issue in some cases.

Just the job
I needed a sticky magnet to convince my Bosch Tassimo coffee machine that my water reservoir was full and this did the job perfectly. There's a built-in one, in the reservoir, inside a disc, which had failed and the machine always thinks my reservoir is empty so this magnetic strip fools the machine and allows it to work again!

LOSES ADHESION Lightweight adaptive magnetic accessory
I write this review based on my decades of experience as a consumer and long term reviewerUpdate 02/02/22The tape has lost its adhesion. This is used to keep a boiler display flap closed so it is opened but not often. Tape no longer sticks after just a few open and close. Not impressed. I will put my own glue on as magnet still works.A gas boiler hinged door was falling open which allowed my two year old grandson to turn dials and knobs next to the bright lights.Tape would do the job but unsightly and unacceptable to the boss lady of 38 years. Thus I gave this magnetic tape a go.Very lightweight. Less than 1 mm thick x 10mm.I cut it to size with scissorsThe plastic layer over the adhesive was the worst thing about it as it did not want to peel.Revived after several false starts by using a needle to get under the layer and then peeled off.Things would have been so much easier f there had been even the slightest of tabs. The glue adhered the tape in position when placed against plastic on the inside of my hinged door.Positioned for the outside magnetic layer to meet the boiler cabinet metal, finished in painted white.Everything held and is holding in place although I suspect the magnet grip might over ride the glue and separate from the hinged door.Only time will tell.Overall. Does the job I needed to get done at a price far below the wife’s alternative
