Purdy 140855624 Power Lock Extension Pole 2-4 foot

You know, it's an annoyance when you just start painting, and the extension pole starts coming undone from the roller! This product sorts that. It's a positive and quick fit using a push-lock mechanism. I've painted the whole house, and it's still going strong. The pole extends, and the lock for that is rock-steady, too. Overall its a quality product, well made with quality materials. It will last, I can tell.Get it with Purdy accessories to ensure the system works together and you won't be disappointed.Highly recommended and Thanks Purdy, worth every penny.

great decorating pole alloy construction , the extendable arm can be locked out at any point so great for tight areas , on full extentsion just the right length for painting the ceilings with ease , due to the sturdiness you get a more even pressure and the walls come out great , even paint all over , i also purchased the purdy sleeve and cage to go with it just click on and away you go , great handle rubber no slip and very light weight , to sum this pole up , binned all my other poles treat yourself

A very good pole

Purdy power lock is easy to use, adjusts easily and holds the purdy 18" roller frame with ease, highly recommend thanks seller and Amazon, feels solid when used and can reach ceilings without stretching.

Great product but mine doesn't lock now. Still useable but disappointed. You can only use shortest or longest now. Okay for money though for one off job

I’ve been a painter for over 20 years love purdy products… quality well made and u have these items from purdy they will be around a lot longer than other makes big thumbs up again

Very good quality sturdy construction, perfect size for standard decorating projects, love the ease of use with purdy roller frames, makes for very speedy transitions.

These poles are generally thought to be for professionals but I would recommend them to any DIY er who wants to make life much, much easier for themselves. They are great for ceilings and walls. If you can, don't bother with the cheaper brands. This is what you need. They are sturdy but with just enough flex in them to make the job less tiring.

As a professional painter in NYC, I carry my tools to every job. And one of the most necessary tools for a painter is a pole. We use it for painting and sanding, so it needs to be convenient and reliable. The purdy power lock matches that criteria.Pros:If you have a purdy handle(I do), then you don't have to untwist to take your handle off. One click and it pops off and you keep moving. The ability to set the extension of the pole to your liking is also a welcome feature. You're not forced to lock in at certain increments. And last. The rubber at the end is very durable and feels good to the hand. Not to mention, if you work small spaces you may have a tendency to hit the wall behind you while using your pole. With that rubber end, at least you won't gouge the wall or hurt someone.Cons:It's a bit heavier than I like, so carrying this pole around with other tools isnt exactly practical. Takes some getting use to. The mechanism that's keeps the stick extended tends to wear down after a while, causing the stick to retract when you apply pressure.

This extension pole is FANTASTIC!! I can't imagine having bought a different one. It is so sturdy and easy to use with Purdy's roller frames. It has made painting my walls super easy and comfortable. Purdy really knows the needs of the painter! I really love their products!!
