I own an ad600 and two studio flashes from another make. if i attach these receivers to the non godox strobes with sync cords would they work?

Yes but why not use slaves to trigger the other flashes?

Will this trigger support wireless hss with a yongnuo flash with hss capability?

It will only work with Godox flashes, if you want to use HSS with Yongnuo then you will need a yongnuo trigger!!

Can this receiver be used to trigger - and control all the features of - a Nikon SB900 flash when using the Godox X1N TTL transmitter on the camera

I cant get it to trigger my Nikon SB910. I bought it to trigger my friends Godox flashes with my Nikon camera.

Do you need two of these to use for of camera flash?

If you have Godox flash units some have a built in receiver so you will only need a transmitter to go on the camera. Otherwise you will need a transmitter for the camera and a receiver for the flash unit.
