10 Week-By-Week Sight Word Packets: An Easy System for Teaching 100 Important Sight Words to Set the Stage for Reading Success

I am a teacher and I am home schooling my 5 year old. I have found these help me to structure our tricky word learning. I use them to fuel more practical activities as the ones suggested can be used in many practical ways. Love this book! My son's reading has really come on.

For "precision" teaching (that is newspeak for rote learning) of the first 100 sight words this is excellent. It reinforces the learning by re-visiting the words in a variety of ways and at the back of the book there are the 100 words that can be laminated and cut up into cards. Every week I photocopy last weeks activities and words for the children to take home so they can do the activities again as homework.

Bit of a drab looking book but very well set out in terms of content, great to work through for a 5 year old learning their foundation stage 'key words.'

Little one loves this work sheet, she wanted to finish the entire book in one go. Great for children working at the level of 4-5 year olds or little ones just turning 6. Too easy for older ones.

i photocopy these, clip them to a clipboard and give them to my daughter on car journeys. she enjoys them

this has been brilliant for my grand children one of them actually loves doing the work in the book and sales through it.

Yes this is best sight words package so far the children like it and it is easy to send home for the parents to reinforce their learning. I am well pleased.
