Way better than I expected
I have this sitting under my walnut desk from Room & Board and it looks like it belongs. The wood looks great and nearly matches my desk. Great looking cabinet and works well too!

Looks great. Terrible to assemble.
When assembled, this is a very nice looking cabinet. But the level of assembly for this thing is absolutely ridiculous. I'm handy and used electric tools and still spent every bit of 90 minutes assembling. And then there's a huge mess of packaging to clean up. I'd gladly spend an extra $50 for them to have put more thought or effort into assembly

Poor instructions, terrible drawer glides
This was exactly the aesthetic I was looking for in a filing cabinet and I am very capable at assembling furniture so I was really excited about this piece! Unfortunately, the instructions were not clear. It took me hours to decipher only to have the drawer glides not reconnect properly when I finished the bottom drawer. And now I have a fully assembled, non-opening filing cabinet. Would not recommend.

Great File Cabinet
For the most part it was easy to make. I had trouble with separating the slider to attach to the drawer. Much nicer than I thought it would be.

Good product, but hella bad instructions!
The cabinet is a beautiful design and sturdy enough for home office use. I heartily second everyone's review that it is a "challenge" to assemble. You have to read between the lines and oftentimes you might think you don't have enough parts. See the images for my notes clarifying the subtleties (apologies for my bed handwriting).

Beautiful and sturdy but tricky to use.
The cabinet is beautiful but you should know that it takes legal size file folders not letter sized. It also is tricky to assemble but I did figure it out with a bit of trial and error. My biggest complaint is that the drawer does not pull out far enough to access the files in the back 1/3 of the drawer. This is a bit frustrating in functional usage of the cabinet.

Useless without a metal insert
After this was fully assembled and we went to hang files, we noticed that the drawer is too wide to allow the letter size files to hang. After measuring, we noted that even legal size folders will still be too narrow. We will need to purchase a metal frame and insert it horizontally in order to hang the folders. So while it looks nice, it cost us lots of time assembling, researching what we can use to make it work, and now more money to get it functional.

Stylish find
It is much better than I anticipated. It looks good and seems to be sturdy. CAUTION: there a ton of parts. They are not labeled to be recognized easily. The packaging of screws could be more exact in you may use a certain screw for two different parts so keep the packaging. It took me a full 120 minutes to complete assembly, but to be fair I was not rushing either. I would purchase again, but would prefer it to be assembled up on arrive. I do dread the desk!
