I kept on thinking they don't work on me, but they do. Without them I would have missed my ovulation by more than a week for the second time now. The second line was there but not as dark as the control line and I thought I must have missed the peak despite measuring twice a day. During my last cycle I was about to give up after 3 weeks in without a positive but decided to do one last test - it was positive. I expected my period but I had not even ovulated yet. Now this cycle was even more frustrating. I only got a positive result today on day 27 of my cycle! There is no way I would have expected to ovulate so late. Before my miscarriage my cycles were way shorter than this. For everyone who doesn't see the second line go dark and gets very frustrated about it, just test outside the advised range. I start right when my period is over and I stop when the next one comes from now on. Bodies are weird and don't always ovulate when they should. These tests are so cheap that you can test every day. The clear blue ones on the other hand are quite expensive and they only sell you the idea of being more reliable because they take the interpretation stage away from you by showing you a face (or not). But how reliable is this face? It's just a random threshold, but every woman is different. You're better off with these and comparing the intensity of the line you get throughout your cycle. I would have totally not had a chance to get my ovulation window right without these.

Really easy to use, there are really clear instructions in the pack, even on how to calculate when to start testing. They are quite small so I peed in a shot glass and dunk in there. Very accurate, just keep at it, especially if you don't know how long your cycle is, mine turned out to be 24 days! I thought the sticks didn't work, I nearly gave up, but stuck it out and I'm glad. It is very obvious from the colouring, you will not miss it. Also great to have so many sticks as if you have short cycle, it will last you 3 months. Great price for these! Unless I conceive quickly, I'll be buying them again! It does take nearly 10 minutes to read the result so not the fastest but worth it, no point in spending lots of money on something you only pee on and throw out.

I've tried many different brands and types of ovulation test sticks etc and without a doubt these are spot on. Like many women I feel ovulation taking place. The day before I felt the way I would when an egg is being released I tested using these tests and within a minute a very bold positive result was showing. Sure enough the following day I felt my monthly ache in my (normally) left ovary,energetic but feel sick or actually sick and all the symptoms that alert me of this moment. As a mum with 4 children between the ages of 22 down to aged 3 I've learned to recognise all the changes in my body so I probably don't need the assistance of ovulation predictor tests but I'm 43 now and my clock is ticking away and my cycle is starting to vary from month to month so I'm using these tests to help me be more accurate. I can't fault the one's I've had and I would recommend them,the quantity and price is very good with next day delivery that's boxed and discreet. Most women don't test once a day but throughout the day at intervals, maybe even during the night when getting up for a wee aswell! So there is plenty of tests to do this. All good.

Im going to put a lot of detail here for those who have been trying for a long time and are having troubles like we were. I suffer from PCOS and had not ovulated or bled for 12 months. we started clomid in December. It didnt work and i didnt get a positive on the ovulation sticks. However, in jan started our 2nd round of clomid. by cycle day 21 still no ovulation (confirmed by blood tests) as confirmed on sticks. BUT i continued to do the ovulation tests everyday one at 2pm and one at around about 7pm. On cycle days 29, 30 and 31 the test lines were considerably darker than they had ever been before but still were not a true positive, (as they just were not dark enough) but i decided that i wouldnt risk it and we decided to the deed on cycle day 29. I was also charting my basal body temp on fertilityfriend.com. This then showed from my temp that i had in fact ovulated on cycle day 30!! and well to cut a story short we are now pregnant yay! Without these tests we could very probably have missed this surge and not done the deed in time. Because my periods are non existant up until this point there is no way i could have afforded the expensive clear blue ov tests. So to some up, i think although these tests didnt truley work they still definitely did. what i would advise for some one in a similar position to me is to use these and if you think they are getting very near positive use 1 clear blue ov test to see if you get a smiley face. however, if your periods are regular, i think you mite as well bite the bullet and buy the more expensive clear blue ov tests as you are definitely going to ovulate its just a matter of finding that day out of ten for example. I really hope this has helped. P.s. I also used these ovulation tests as a pregnancy test! it really does work! (once you know for sure you've ovulated from your temps). Bought these after reading reviews on Amazon, most of which said they were just as good as more expensive tests. I was kind of planning to use them as an inexpensive dummy run for a few months, to get the hang of things and work out the pattern of my cycles before beginning to "try" in earnest, perhaps with a more expensive set of kit. Turns out that wasn't necessary - the predictor strips worked so well that we are now pregnant after only 2 months of using them. Found the strips easy to use and quite clear to interpret once you get used to them. I recommend you keep a diary alongside the strips, so you can jot down how dark or pale the test line is so you get to understand your cycle, especially if you're not 28-day regular which I am not. I'm sure this is a bit unorthodox, but I also used one of the strips as a pregnancy test as soon as I suspected I was pregnant (the instructions don't tell you this, but the predictor strips detect a similar substance in urine that pregnancy tests look for, so the result can come up positive both for ovulation and pregnancy) - and it worked for that too, another solid dark purple line. A proper pregnancy testing digital kit then confirmed the same result later that day. Good luck to everyone who's trying - these strips certainly worked for us xx

Awful, so unreliable. Didn’t get a positive test once, to the point that I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was nearly 20 weeks and still hadn’t had a test even close to positive haha.

If you're on a budget and want to do ovulation tracking then these are good and ok for the price. They're good if you're a serial tester during the day to catch your peak. BUT due to the dye they can be hard to read and interpret. Now you're not supposed to read the test after 10 minutes but after 10 minutes is when the test is clear enough to read. I did order another brand (see pictures), which is a little more cheaper (0.20p less in October 2025) for 20 tests, but it actually recommended for the SMEP plan. And I can see why. Easy and clear to read in less time. I do recommend this product for budget conscious people but if you want something more obvious, this product isn't it. Now my pictures are with 2nd urine of the day, 4 hours after FMU, after 2 cups of coffee and some water. So it's reading strong, it's just the dye I hate.

After reading all the positive reviews we gave these tests a go. Long story short, had been on the pill consistently for the last 7-8 years, so when I stopped taking it I had no periods for about a year. So when they did come back, it was really difficult to determine when I was ovulating if I even did at all. Turns out my cycles were MUCH longer than we'd thought (varying between 32-45 days long), and used these tests daily to determine it. We got pregnant on the 4th cycle of using these tests. Once you get the hang of it and start recognising the signs your body gives you around ovulation it's so much easier to catch that window, believe me it can be a small one!! Much easier to use than other brands like clearblue, and because they're so cheap you can keep using them daily to catch that perfect time to conceive. For those of you struggling - I've been there. Have faith, keep trying and definitely USE THESE TESTS!!

Horrible never worked

Comprati più volte, sempre affidabili (anche una volta scaduti...). Consiglio a chi come me non ha un ciclo regolare, e a tutte quelle che vogliono tentare di concepire in maniera "mirata". Sono rimasta incinta al secondo tentativo, in tutte e due le gravidanze, quindi nel mio caso i test hanno sicuramente aiutato! Vicino all'ovulazione consiglio di ripetere il test anche 3 volte al giorno per capire bene l'andamento dell'LH. Se no si rischia di non vedere mai il picco ma di vedere LH alto o molto alto per un periodo di tempo (nel mio caso da uno a tre giorni), soprattutto visto il prezzo irrisorio...

Mein Zyklus funktioniert zwar wie ein Uhrwerk und meine Eisprünge sind absolut regelmäßig, aber weil ich jetzt durch viele bestimmte Nährstoffe, bestimmte Bakterienstämme für die weiblichen Fortpflanzungsorgane, Ernährungsoptimierung und hohe Dosen D3 (vorübergehend 20.000 Einheiten am Tag), meine Schleimhaut und Zellteilung krass optimiert habe, hat sie die letzten Monate trotz ganz normaler Eisprünge nicht geblutet, war aber richtig schön dick aufgebaut, so wie zu meinen Urkost Zeiten auch, als ich mich nur von wilden Tropenfrüchten und Blättern ernährt habe. Den meisten ist das wahrscheinlich völlig unbekannt, aber die Fruchtbarkeit hängt extrem stark mit der Ernährung zusammen (bitte nicht im Internet recherchieren, sondern neueste Studien studieren) und daraus resultiert ganz klar die Menge und Dauer der Blutung. Naja dazu könnte ich jetzt ewig viel schreiben, da kennen sich leider nicht mal Frauenärzte ausreichend damit aus, was sehr traurig ist, aber durch jahrzehntelange Erfahrung, auch durch andere weiß ich, dass es so ist, und man wird natürlich trotzdem, bzw. erst recht, ganz normal schwanger und natürlich sogar viel schneller, wenn alles reibungslos abläuft. Dazu muss man nicht eine Schöpfkelle Blut am Tag verlieren, das ist von der Natur so nicht vorgesehen. Wenn wilde Tiere bluten würden, wären sie alle ein gefundenes Fressen. Jedenfalls hab ich mich mit den Streifen vergewissert, dass mein Eisprung pünktlich stattgefunden hat, weil ja nichts mehr geblutet hat und dafür sind die Streifen recht nützlich, auch wenn man anhand der Schleim Beschaffenheit und so weiter sowieso genau weiß, wann der Eisprung ist, wenn man seinen Körper gut kennt und beobachtet. Aber ja, es hat mich auch bisschen aufgeregt dass Leute, die sich einfach nicht sehr intensiv mit Gesundheit und Anti-Aging befassen und auskennen, glauben, es gäbe ein Alter, in dem man als Frau einfach so ohne Grund unfruchtbar wird, und das ist ganz einfach falsch! Man wird nicht unfruchtbar, nur weil man älter wird, sondern ganz einfach, weil Nährstoffe fehlen, mit nichts anderem hat das zu tun. Alterung ist eine Krankheit, das ist leider nur in sehr kleinen Kreisen hier und da in der Welt angekommen bis jetzt, weil sich hier niemand wirklich damit befasst, und Wechseljahre genauso, und ich weiß, wie man das alles einfach nicht bekommt und fertig, und ich bin der beste Beweis dafür, dass ich recht habe. In meinem Alter sind alle die ich kenne, unfruchtbar und sehen auch so aus und mein Zyklus funktioniert einfach immer wie ein Uhrwerk, weil ich weiß, wie der Körper funktioniert. Und auch dafür hab ich die Streifen, einfach um zeigen zu können: hier guck, wie hoch LH ist, genau so muss das aussehen. Progesteron genauso, also hör lieber auf jmd, der seit Jahrzehnten täglich Studien durchforstet und es geschafft hat mit fast 53 durchweg von jeder einzelnen Person ausnahmslos auf Anfang bis höchstens Mitte 20 geschätzt zu werden, als auf einen Frauenarzt. I have no ide of these tests are good or bad. What bothers me it's that nowhere in the title says they are meant for in-vitro use only. Therefore if you do read carefully these might not work for you.
