PEDAL COMMANDER for Mini Cooper 2007+ - Throttle Response Controller to Help Reduce Accelerator Lag - 4 Driving Modes + App Control - Performance Mods Upgrades - Cooper Accessories

As you know, Mini’s have a ridiculous throttle lag. It’s a shame as they’re lovely cars. So… after a lot of research and very limited funds I staggered across a Utube video where someone had installed a ‘Pedal Commander’ in a Mini Cooper. For £189 I thought ‘what the hell!!’ And bought one. The seller contacted me to advise there might be a customs tax levied on this item, as it was shipped from Germany, but it arrived sooner than expected and with no import duty. On a Mini Cooper R56 you only have one bolt to remove to release the accelerator pedal (5mm Allen key) then unclip the plug and fit the Pedal Commander between the two sockets. It took me 5 minutes! The unit , once the ignition was on, defaulted to City Mode so I left it at that and took the Mini for a spin……….OMG!!!! The difference in the throttle response was staggering! …so I tried it in all the 4 modes ( and 8 sub modes ) I’ve never ‘wheel spun’ in reverse before 😱 this is the Best and cheapest mod for any fly by wire car you could buy!!! Buy one now!!!!!!!! Hope this was helpful….. yours sincerely a new Mini owner.

This product is worth every penny, I am running at sport mode, sport+ is not for town driving as the response is too quick, I have fitted it to a 2005 mini Cooper S, I would recommend fitting this to any car, it gives you all the power that your car has instantly if you want or more gradule if you want, you are in full control, excellent product

I was really suspect to begin with but WOW, it really packs a punch, extremely noticeable on ALL settings. I love the race track setting whacked up to full mode...... Very responsive on my Mini Cooper diesel 2010

Non avevo mai sentito parlare di questo prodotto, incuriosito l' ho comprato e lo sto usando su mini R56 1,6122cv....che dire lo ricomprerei...da cio che promette e in più usi l'app e il congegno e' nascosto sotto cruscotto

Excellent bit of kit. No lag when pulling away.

After following the directions (which some people fail to do) it installed in 5 minutes in my 2011 Mini Cooper S manual with no check engine light. Eco mode is way too lethargic but city mode is perfect for what it says (especially levels 3-4), Sport is a lot of fun but Sport+ is scary especially on levels 3-4. It’s worth the money
