OXOGood Grips Extendable Microfibre Duster

Used for the top edges of kitchen counters under low beds and hard to reach places.This has a brilliant extendable handle and the microfibre head is easy to hoover off or wash. The head can also turn in different directions backwards and forwards for those tricky angles.The duster is also soft and picks up and retains the dust, which is very important as we have someone with a dust mite allergy in the house.Have been using it for about 4 months now and so far so good. I would definitely buy another when needed, so don't hesitate if you need a long handled flat duster.It would be great if it came with a spare duster head so one could be washed whilst other is in use. But that's just a nice extra to have.

I have been enjoying using the OXO Good Grips Duster as it makes getting to those harder to reach areas very easy. I'm quite short and there are many times when dust piles up on hard to reach areas such as light shades or on top of the fridge. The duster extends to 54 cms which is quite long and would allow someone even smaller than I to reach cobwebs even on the highest ceilings.The end of the duster is very flexible it can be rotated around but you can also bend it into a few different angles depending on what it is you would like to dust. The microfiber cloth on the end picks up dust very easily which is excellent because if you are dusting something quite delicate you want have to go over it again and again. The cloth comes off easily and I can throw it in the machine, it comes out good as new.Another trick that I have learned is that I can slightly dampen the cloth if I need to clean something particularly stubborn from a higher place and it helps clean it off no bother.All in all it does what it is supposed to do and folds up small which makes it great to store.

Based on OXO excellent reputation ordered this extendable duster, expecting the usual excellent quality.But the extendable handle didn't 'lock' on the 1st order >>> nor the 2nd order!I can only think this was a faulty batch - but I gave up and didn't try a 3rd!So disappointing. OXO brand usually has such good quality products?!

The duster definitely attracts the dust in my house. I use the extendable stick and form it into a 90 degree shape to clean the top of my cabinets. The only small complaint is that the clip that clips the duster to the holder can be quick tricky to undone. It took me a few attempts to get a hang of it. I am not sure if this is permissible but I like to wet the duster a bit so that I can trap more dust. Otherwise, in some really dusty area, the dust would just fly all over the place the moment I brush the duster over.I wish that the switch for the angle can be a bit more fluid/flexible. It's not that the current system is not good but it would be extremely great if it is formed like a bendable wire to whichever angle I like. The current product only allows for selected angles. Overall, it is still a very practical good product. So 5 stars from me!

Don't like this duster at all. For a start mine won't extend just keeps fall back down again. The duster head is nasty. It quickly becomes all matted i.e. after the first use (who woud want to keep washing it every 5 minutes) - not me for sure! The end of the duster is also prone to scrape along the ceiliing as well while you're using it. All in all a total waste of money. I've reveted back to my old one (just glad I didn't throw it away), which unfortunatley it what will happen with this one! My advice - don't bother.

I have developed a bad back and wanted a duster that was light and efficient. I am very pleased with this duster. It is light and bends to reach the nooks and crannies. I have even dusted places that when I was more able did not bother with. For example between the wall and the furniture in cases where the piece of furniture does not fit flush to the wall. It is also more efficient in dusting wooden shutters (mine are from Hilaries - not sure of the exact shutter size gaps but approx 1.5inches). The duster just fits nicely between the lats and manages to dust both the bottom and top ledges. Better job than a product I have bought especially for this purpose! The duster does shed a few bits / strands when new but this is only minimal. The aluminium handle extension is easy to tighten and loosen again. I am very pleased with this product. I wish I had bought a replacement duster head at the same time so I could have a clean spare whilst the dirty one was being laundered.
