skinners ruff and ready 15 kg
All of our 6 dogs love it.I add a small amount of tinned dog food aswell the moisten the ruff and ready. It can be fed to your dog dry but you must ensure that your dog drinks extra water to avoid constipation.Ruff and ready comes in small compacted pieces and is a complete dog food.My dog is around 44kg and I feed him one and a half tins (600g) using a regular 400g size metal tin.On average one sack of ruff and ready will last a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks. If you subscribe to amazon you can get a sack for around £15.46 otherwise it costs approximately £18.00.Unlike other complete dry foods there is only a slight odour from the food and I store the sack in a 60 litre bin to keep it fresh.Clean up after the dog has processed the food is better also and it has never upset his digestive system and keeps him satisfied as he usually goes to sleep straight after feeding.Gives my dog a lovely glossy coat and is good for his teeth as he has something hard to bite on when eating Rough and Ready thus protecting his teeth in the long run where soft foods dont !All in all a excellent quality food and nothing gets left, all balanced with vitamins and minerals that your dog will need.Best dry dog food we have tried to date.

Been using this dog food for 25+ years, all my dogs have loved the food, they move onto after coming off puppy food very easily and still eating it even when they are 18-19 years old, highly recommend

Happy Dog = Healthy Dog
I started using this after a recommendation from the kennels where our dog spends his holiday. Having used more expensive brands in the past with mixed results I thought that the amount of people who have said Skinners, despite the excellent value, was a quality product we should try it.We have a Labrador retriever, he will eat anything however the gusto with which he tackles his dinner is a definite paws up from him. The food looks more varied than the usual uniform kibble pieces and adding a little water creates a gravy for any dog who needs perhaps a little more encouragement in eating (not the case with our boy.) I take a little bag for treats on our walks which he enjoys greatly.Being able to buy this by subscription is a handy time-saver taking one more job off the list as the heavy bags get delivered direct. Although an option to make it every 6 weeks would be handier!

Can't rate it any lower.
Skinner's Ruff and Ready Dog Food Dry Mix scores very low on two counts -1). Skinner's Ruff and Ready Dog Food Dry Mix 15kg advertised as £22.75 and FREE delivery in the UK! I was charged Postage & packing £3.96 and VAT of £4.58. Where does the free delivery come in, and nowhere was it stated that this price was was VAT exclusive. I cannot believe that this meets with advertising standards.2) I initially bought the 2.5kg pack which the dogs seemed to like so went on to order the 15kg. When I opened the bag I was immediately struck by the difference in the appearance of the contents of the two bags. The large bag of dog food looks as though it was swept of a factory floor and has stuck together into a clump that is so hard I had to gouge it out to try and feed the dogs. It appears to be made up of predominantly yellow flat bits which the dogs will not eat and leave these all around their dishes!! Our dogs are not fussy but they now refuse to eat the food and I have had to throw it away. This has proved to be a very unpleasant and expensive exercise for a pensioner.

Great, reasonably priced and clearly tasty!
I have a boxer/bullmastiff crossbreed and a 15kg lasts him about 6-7 weeks. Great value for money and he loves it. I squish in a tiny bit of wet food at the bottom of his bowl, but he will eat this kibble without wet food too. When I tried Burns' dog food (which was far more expensive) he turned his nose up at it. He loves the veg mix and the muesli in this. Having it on Subscribe & Save is also a godsend as it arrives like clockwork. He's the ideal weight (32kg) and everybody always compliments his shiny coat. Definitely worth the price. Wouldn't change it now, and have even recommended it for my mum's sprocker spaniel (a notoriously fussy eater) and even he loves it. Definitely recommend.
