This glue is excellent. So useful for fixing anything metal. Once hard can be sanded and painted. Always have some in my DIY cupboard

Don't know why people are badly reviewing this product as it's quite good to be honest. Had to fit a steel plate to the underside of a vehicle without welding and this did the job. Just mix accordingly and apply pressure and leave it and eventually it's solid.

I have used Araldite in the past and generally always have some in stock. In this instance, after reading reviews, it was not recommended to use the dispenser because of wastage. It made absolute sense and bought the product without a dispenser. Just to add, the reviews were specifically aimed at rapid adhesives, but from my personal experience, the mixing nozzle will in any event have hardened adhesive form at their tips. This means you need to use a lot of adhesive to make using the tip worthwhile.

I needed this to make some badges for some rim bosses for my classic car. I had the decal badge; then I needed to glue an M5 short bolt to them. The badges were convex so I had to use a bolt and not glue to the bosses. It was aluminium glued to steel, so I scuffed up both items with some 600 grit, mixed up the Araldite, and applied. Araldite does not shrink or crack and there is only a few minutes of working time, then it takes time to cure. However, this is exactly what Araldite has always been like; I have used it for years, so predictability really matters. They cured rock solid, I bolted the badges on and tight too. The Araldite did not budge at all.

Araldite has been my go to Epoxy since my Grandads days. It still is , however in this case I needed to bond Bronze to wood . It failed! Next morning the 2 pieces broke apart . On the shelf I had Gorilla standard Epoxy so tried that. It worked. I did however scratch up the 2 services to be bonded more, so maybe that helped. I think this Araldite just wasn’t right for wood to metal. Probably standard Araldite would have done. Won’t stop me buying standard Araldite for normal applications as it’s well and truly proven Epoxy.

Nothing beats it for serious repairs. If you need a repair to work 1 st time and stay repaired it’s brilliant.

But be careful from the colour.

I used it on my toilet tank lid. It worked well.

Provare per credere. Questo ultimo mi è giunto dal Regno Unito, sempre con la rapidità di Amazon
