Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Gold

I bought this to replace a J3 phone which stopped working after about 6 years. I had to have some help to set the phone up..not too good at this..but once set up was easy to use. The back is not removable so replacing the battery will not be possible so hoping for a long life from it. The battery in my old J3 never needed replacing in 6years!

I bought this as a cheap temporary phone while my other phone is being repaired. It does exactly what I need.

It May be of the older Samsung's, but this Phone was my grandson who broke his iPhone, this was an excellent choice, till he shows a little more care. Phone performs well For an older phone and Really good for the price. would use this supplier again Packaging was a little unprofessional but did the job

Has a few problems to begin with - the plug seemed not to fit a UK socket. It is a design I had not seen before. The language was Dutch, I was unsure whether the model was made for the UK market. I contacted the seller about returning the phone and received from them a PDF of the manual. The language was very easy to change to English. The sim card was easy to reduce in size and transfer from my old phone. I am familiar now with all of the functions of the Samsung J3 and I love this phone - could not be more delighted with it and would highly recommend it. I can't imagine what a £800-£900 phone does that this one does not! Excellent value.

A very elegant phone but it should NOT be sold as a SIM free product as one requires tools, a lot of patience, and an engineering degree would be helpful, in order to get the wretched back off to give access to the SIM slot. Having unboxed the thing, admired its beauty, I realised the difficulty and sought a YouTube tutorial on getting the back off. Having seen how complex it was, I gave up and decided to return the thing. As one of the YouTube comments said: The bloke who designed this should get another job.

I love my samsung, it is like new. Looks great and I was delighted with the service and delivery. Many thanks Amazon, this is why I shop with you.

This phone is very nice looking and picture quality is great. However the battery is life is very poor. I bought the phone as a gift for someone abroad (not in UK or EU) and apparently not covered under warranty.

So far, love my new phone, but don't like the charger! Hot to the touch after a couple of hours charging (after the trouble with chargers awhile ago)! and why are they so mean with the length of the cable? I can't use it while it's plugged in as it's only 75 cm long, as opposed to my old faithful from my first Samsung phone about 4 years ago which is 150cm which does not get hot either! Guess what charger is going back in the box? Come on Samsung if you are using crappy chargers and cutting corners on cable what else is going down hill?
