Amazing Casting Products Mold Putty Kit 0.66 lb White

I was suprised how far this product goes. I've only gone about a third of the way through both tubs, and have made at least twenty small items. It's very simple to use, and is really productive. Be warned though - don't mix the two tubs in any way, or it can really mess the product up!The finished moulds are durable, and great for many purposes.

I haven't tried making moulds this way before and wasn't totally convinced that it would work.I am very happy to be proven wrong!Just follow the instructions. I know it sounds obvious, but really it does work and it works well.It isn't cheap, but so far I have made 3 small moulds (small ornament size, about 4cm long) and still have around 3/4 of the pack left. It sets perfectly, and is very easy to remove, just take your time with it and be gentle.Everything I have made has excellent detail. I have used good old plaster (the crafters type, mixed with water) and it's spot on.No hesitation giving 5 stars.

This is a great value product, compared with other similar products from the likes of Gedeo. It mixes very easily, cures quickly and picks up fine detail (as you would expect from silcone).So why not five stars? It's the robustness of the cured mould; for me there is less elasticity than you get with rival products (Siligum) which makes your mould more susceptible to tearing.Of course this all depends on the type of moulding you are doing - if you are 'flat' moulds (brooches, etc.) this will not really affect you much, since you do not need to flex much to remove the finished piece. However if you are moulding 'deeper' items which require you to turn the mould inside out (which is what I tend to do), that's your point of weakness right there.I have used this product for liquid casting (Jesmonite / epoxy resin) and moulding of firmer substances (Sculpey / epoxy putty) and it is just fine for both, however please note that it is softer and has more 'give' than Siligum, so if you are going to use it for non-liquid applications you want to ensure that your medium is nice and soft before attempting to squeeze it into the mould, or over-distortion of the mould may lead to pockets of detail being missed.Overall a good product at a reasonable price. Recommended!

Easy to use makes great moulds would buy again

This is such a good moulding material! You won't be dissapointed buying this, it's got many uses and can be used (once set) in the oven for use with polymer clay too .

Package arrived open the two tubs were open too. Dough was not dried up however and it works fine, not the best.

I really like this product, it has minimal mixing time, you have to combine both putty’s together and use quite quickly, but I have had some great casts out of this product using liquid resin.

The box arrived open , both tubs were open and leaking.Have tried to report to stellar but was unable to send the photos for some reason ?Have asked if the product is still useable but no answer as yet ?
