where is the calibration setting on this spreader - i can see no numbers or markings - i need 35g per m2 setting ... thank you

There are numbers on the green part of the handle but for the money I would not expect high accuracy. I loaded a kilogramme into the hopper and then measured the area covered. The width covered would not change (you have to measure that once) so you only have to measure the distance. It took a couple of kilos to get it right but once set it is there for life. From memory I arrived at a setting of 28 for 35g/m2. Make sure you wash out the machine (including the wheels) afterwards. Dead easy and quick to use.

Can you only use evergreen and scoots products in this speader ? Or can you use any products in this speader?

Any product provided it is small granules, day 2-3mm. There is a hand control to limit the amount distributed. Normal pellets for garden fertiliser would also work. Tip, empty every time you use because if it is damp the pellets can solidify and screw it up. Enjoy.
