Ooo. I like this. Cheap looking but does the job a1. Why so good? Comes with instruction (not that you need them). Comes with stick foam to put on drives either side before install. Very easy to take apart then install drive but best of all Comes with cable that is the new recognised c cable for connection. Therefore a general mobile phone cable is the output cable required. (Normally it is a specialised out put cable) so it connects to computor a1. Blue light indicates connection. Great value.

Very easy to install disk drive and works fine, excellent value for the price.

I brought the pink version with USB-C, at the time it was £3 cheaper than the other colour choices, glad I saved the money. The overall item does the job well however, this product does have a cheap plasticity feel to it. Removing the case isn't an issue unless your hands are greasy or cold - the plastic can be slippery. But, the casing fits together well & there were no rough edges. A 2.5" drive slips in easily, sits comfortably on the spongy pad provided. The supplied data cable feels of reasonable quality. Overall, this is worth the sub £6 price I paid. I've brought Orico products in the past, but would probably look to purchase a more premium Orico product in the future should I decide on this brand.

Looks a bit cheap, however, absolutely no issues with its use. Inserted a drive which had been removed from an old laptop. Always recognised by my laptop. Used as a layered backup drive.

Does the job

These units work well. Accept any drive I have installed without issue, and are detected easily by both my windows and Linux machines of varying ages (Unlike other brands I have purchased which seem to require newer windows drivers) Easy tool free installation of media, and require no additional power. I have purchased several and am very happy with all units supplied. Very good value for money.

This thing works well but the casing is the cheapest plastic ever

Nice little enclosure for 2.5 sata drives. Super simple to use, worked right out of the box. Just pop the drive in the enclosure and plug it in. Freat if you have old drives laying around and want to give them a new life as backup drives.

The hard drive enclosure works great. It can pass-through SeaTools S.M.A.R.T self-test command to the HDD with no problem. (Some enclosure/external drives can't) It had no problem with a 1TB SSD, 2TB laptop HDD, or 1TB SSHD. I was able to use Minitool Partition Manager/Clonezilla clone from internal drive to this enclosure with no problem. Temperature isn't too bad too, it slowly creeped up to 47C (ambient 23) when doing the self-test. Better than it was inside my laptop. The induced USB-C cable is adequate. While the blue indicator light is there, just very dim. You can only see it at almost straight-on in better lighting, maybe not a bad thing for some users.
