I'm on a low cal and low carb diet, and enjoy making healthy savoury muffins for breakfast or brunch. I have quality, non-stick bakeware but no matter what I do, my muffins always stick to the sides and bottom. So as the original recipe used silicone bakeware, I decided to give these silicone cases a go, to see if they worked. They're absolutely brilliant! My muffins just popped out! In my video, you can see I'm recording with one hand and using the other to get the muffin out. The mixture doesn't stick, or hardly at all. Incidentally, I have very painful arthritis in my hands, so for me to be able to do this, is incredible! The moulds also wash up well and are easy to clean. The only cons I've found... The mixture takes a bit longer to cook all the way through. Although they cooked well, I didn't get the nice, crispy top edges I used to but I'll keep experimenting... Plus, there's 24 cases to wash up but they do wash/clean easily. Overall, I'm thrilled with these and think they're really value for money.

For the price and the quantity, this is very good. Silicon is quite thin and I was worried about if it will hold its shape, however it does hold (see picture of cup cake mould filled with water). But if you tried to pick it up filled with liquid it will go out and shape and if not careful may spill. It is non sick and flexible, made some jelly pudding and peels off easily & nicely. Overall for the price and quantity you get is very good. I would however like it to be thicker. Also feels like it should last for a long time.

Great cupcake moulds & a bargain at the price, Easy to use, cakes are easy to remove & they are easy clean. Much more eco friendly than using the paper ones & throwing them in the bin after one use. There is no smell & no taste. Would definitely recommend these.

These are functional, but they are smaller than your average muffin tin hole. This means that in stead of 12 regular muffins/cupcakes you have to make 20 or 24 so that the batter doesn't spill out. Fot the price they are ok, but I prefer the branded proper size ones I have.

Ich habe mir vor einiger Zeit ein Set mit verschiedenen Backutensilien zugelegt, in welchem bereits einige Muffinförmchen aus Silikon enthalten waren. Obwohl ich anfangs ziemlich skeptisch war, mit diesen zu backen, so konnten mich die Silikonformen doch überzeugen. Das praktischste an ihnen ist dabei natürlich, dass sie wiederverwendbar sind. Da die 6 Formen, die ich bereits hatte, nicht ausgereicht haben, habe ich mich nach einem Set an Muffinformen aus Silikon umgeschaut. Dabei entdeckte ich dieses von Starhome, welches mir durch die schillernden Farben der Formen und den günstigen Preis direkt zusagte. – Dieses Set sollte es sein! Beim Auspacken der Formen ließ mich kein unangenehmer Geruch die Nase rümpfen, was für mich ein gutes Zeichen dafür ist, dass bei der Produktion nicht das billigste Material verwendet wurde. Auch die Verarbeitung aller Formen ist einwandfrei: Ich habe weder Produktions-, noch Materialfehler an diesen entdeckt. Alle Förmchen sind außerdem alle exakt gleich groß, was vor allem optisch natürlich sehr schön ist. In diesem Set sind Muffinförmchen in 6 verschiedenen Farben enthalten: blau, grün, gelb, orange, rot und pink. Wenn Sie mich fragen, dann sind die Farben der Förmchen in Natura viel intensiver und strahlender als auf dem Produktbild. Das finde ich klasse, denn so werden die Muffins schon durch das Förmchen geschmückt, in dem sie sich befinden. Es ist vielleicht nicht uninteressant, dass diese Muffinformen ca. 3,5 cm hoch sind und einen Bodendurchmesser von ca. 4,5 cm haben. Damit eignen sich diese für die Zubereitung kleiner Muffins, aber auch von Cupcakes. – Praktisch! Beim Backen haben sich diese Formen definitiv bewiesen: Sie gaben nicht nach, nachdem ich sie mit Teig befüllt habe. Die Muffins gingen außerdem hervorragend auf und ließen sich beim Verzehren auch problemlos aus dem Formen lösen. Ich möchte an dieser Stelle auch anmerken, dass die Muffins, die ich mit den Formen gebacken habe, tatsächlich nach Muffin und nicht nach Silikon geschmeckt haben. Auch die Reinigung der Förmchen ist einfach, wobei ich Ihnen an dieser Stelle empfehlen würde, sie mit der Hand abzuwaschen. Was kann ich also sagen? Ich bin wirklich zufrieden mit diesem Set: Alle Formen sind ausgezeichnet verarbeitet, die Muffins schmecken nicht nach Silikon und werden durch die Förmchen schön dekoriert. Angesichts all dessen halte ich den aktuellen Preis von ca. 10 Euro für absolut angemessen. Ich kann das Set nur weiterempfehlen!
