Filtropa Coffee Filter Papers Size 4, Unbleached, 100% Natural, Pack of 100

Been using these for a while now and they do exactly what they should—no tearing, no weird taste, and they fit my size 4 filter perfectly. The unbleached paper gives peace of mind—no chemicals messing with the flavour. Coffee comes through clean, no papery aftertaste, and they hold up well even with a slow pour. I’ve used them daily and never had one split or clog. Simple, reliable, and better for the environment too. Solid value for a 100-pack.

Do i think there Value for money Yes the paper filters works well so my coffee has no bits at the bottom of the cup and jug. So my coffee now is tasting so much better. And it has made it a lot better to clean too. I will be useing them all the time from now on. And thats what i think i do hope this helps you if your thinking will it work or not it will and you will end up with good clean coffee that is far better than it was with out them.

Apart from the price, as I now know that I can get them cheaper on the high street, these filters are excellent, thin enough to easily shape in to my machine and not fall apart when used and thick enough to not hamper coffee filtration and to keep the grouts and dust in the filter and not in the coffee cup. I have used both fine and medium ground coffee through the filters with no problem at all. I would definately recommend the product to all, but my only gripe is that I can find them cheaper elsewhere, but these are tried and tested and perform perfectly, I have not purchased and tried the cheaper options yet, so will the cheaper option perform as well. We shall have to see.

The problem with reviews is that you must sieve through them trying to filter planted praise, troll mischief, competitors' sabotage, and misleading experience from people who cannot or will not read instructions. Some comments are plainly ridiculous, but a common complaint is that the filters rip. THEY DO NOT. You just need to fold the edges, as instructed (no glue is used) and there is nothing to rip. I use them without any support on a Bodum carafe. I rinse the filter, empty the water, fill with grounds, soak the grounds, slowly pour over; at the end of the cycle, I lift the filter with the used grounds and drop the whole lot in the bin. It never breaks or rips. It certainly does not let any grounds through. And I do not try to use the filter twice (they are designed to be used once only), although if you do and you are happy with the results, good for you, your pocket, and the environment. As far as added flavour to the coffee, nothing unpleasant that I can discern, although I don't claim to be a connoisseur. I sometimes try to be ecologically conscious and use an excellent reusable steel filter, but these paper filters produce a smoother brew and better extraction. Overall, I am happy with this product and can confidently give a five-star rating based on my experience.

Excellent value for money. Does not rip or tear. I place my used ones, with the coffee still in it, to dry out in a pot so I can use the coffee in my garden. Then throw the paper away.

Very good strong and did what it was meant to

I have a 3 cup Chemex and since their filters are comparatively expensive I gave Filtropa a try. 5-10/100 seals broke whilst I was using them, the average paper let through some coffee "sludge" and any amount of squeezing to extract more coffee resulted in the seal coming apart; letting through a small number of grounds. Many worked reasonably well, however, the sides always folded inwardly which often got in the way of pouring. Due to the cheapness, I didn't mind forgoing some brews but comparing the taste to the Chemex filters, Chemex wins hands down. The filters came wrapped in plastic without a box (not including amazon's box). If you enjoy a slightly stressful brewing process, these are the filters for you.
