Desert Harvest Acne Gel (4 oz)

I used this product for a long time and recommended it to friends and family. It was the only product that was effective against cystic acne for me and made an immediate difference upon application. Regretfully, the company has changed the formulation of this product and it no longer works for me and others I had recommended it to. The ingredients listed here are no longer accurate. They have removed the honeysuckle and aspen bark extracts. Honeysuckle is antibacterial and has naturally occurring salicylic acid (anti inflammatory and pore exfoliating ). Aspen bark is also antibacterial. Acne is caused partially by bacteria and clogged pores. Both of these ingredients are generally used as natural preservatives in cosmetics. I guess they decided to cut these out and increase the amount of radish root ferment which they chose to keep in the formula probably to cut costs. That’s fine from a preservative aspect but the product is no longer effective for acne because the other two extracts are gone. Also the ingredients on their website haven’t been updated either which I’m guessing is to conceal the fact that the acne gel and the aloe gele is the exact same product just with a different label. Their website has different ingredients for each product but when you get them home they are the same. The company will not give you a refund on any of their skin products whatsoever. Unethical. False advertising. No longer a customer. Neither are the people I recommended this product to in the past. So try at your own risk. If you want aloe gel for burns and suncare this will probably work for you. If you want it for acne, I can no longer recommend.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this product worked for my acne immediately. I have use Desert Harvest Releveum product and found it very useful so I recommended This company to my friend and she bought the acne gel for her 23 year old who also has good results.

My daughters both have acne, and one has itchy rashes. This product soothes and smoothes their skin while fighting and preventing acne. First product I have found that they ask for by name. Thank you!
