Not as thick as a board, but they do the job and are not too thin. I’ve been pulling down plaster walls on a second floor and these work great to fill a 5gal bucket. Hand on the bottom and they hold together just fine.

Makes a great trash can liner for standard 5 gallon bucket. Would fit something a little taller, though not much wider. Pretty durable. Something sharp like sticks may poke through, but great for normal trash. Thicker than #2 shopping bag, thinner than #4 bag.

Very sturdy and the right size! we use them in our non-burnable trash can which holds sharp objects. Really great bags

The other reviewers are right. These aren't super heavy duty like 6 mil plastic but they are a big step above the cheap bags. So the drill goes like this: line the bucket with one of these, pour in about a pint of kitty litter, let fly, then add about a half cup of lye (to further solidity contents and to disinfect) and then shake the bucket from side to side (not up and down) until the contents are solided up. Never dispose of liquid waste in public garbage cans or dumpsters or you create a health risk for the poor person that has to clean it up. Some people pour Knox unflavored gelatin in the bags too. This turns things into a gel solid. I don't think the manufacturer of these bags approve of this use but just remember: we're all trying to protect our health and the health of communities we interact with. Happy Camping!

not very strong bags, seem quite thin and they tear easily==for a 5 gallon capacity very weak bags, have to double or triple them up

we used these for the toilet while camping and they did great for a small bowl. Bags were a bit small but it worked great for the toilet we bought
