This thing is comfortable and works great. Having the second pillow detach means I can make it smaller, and then I can use it for side sleeping or when my hip gets tired of toes to the nose level height. Handles allow easy readjustment. I’m really short (5’0” or about 153 cm) and I find the adjustable height lets me use it as a lot of lift if I pull the sloped part all the way to my backside. I do use the small flat extra pillow to float my heel since my leg is so much shorter than the pillow. The bigger flat pillow is good for lift and can also be put under my backside for extra cushioning because I’m sitting so freaking much right now. The nonslip dots on the bottom work well enough on the couch.The only issues I have are that sometimes I’d like to elevate both legs and there’s not quite enough room for that, and that the cats absolutely love the thing. When I don’t need it anymore it will absolutely still be useful as a cat bed. I have learned to turn it over if I’m not using it so I don’t have to fight to get it back.Overall, I think this could be configured to work for almost anyone. It doesn’t get too hot, it first get too hard, and it’ll be useful after my ankle heals. Recommended.

I bought this for my wife for recovery after hip replacement surgery and it works great. The curved leg support is perfect for keeping the supported leg from sliding off. You can add or subtract the base pillow and another small one to get the height you need. The pillow material is firm enough to provide good support but cushy enough to be comfortable. The covering is very soft as well. This is far better than stacking regular pillows. We are totally pleased with this product.

This bolster is designed well, checks every box for what you will need in a multi-month recovery. There are several features that make this such a useful tool when you have to keep the leg elevated to prevent swelling.I appreciate that the height is adjustable by adding or removing cushions- there are velcro fasteners on every side to prevent it from sliding. I liked the extra little cushion that can help stabilize your leg when you need to make minor adjustments for comfort. When I wasn’t using it, I just tucked it between the other two pieces and it stored well there.The whole cushion is sturdy, the foam is cradling without being constricting, and has a textured bottom to stay in place. It arrives compressed and so it takes about a day to come to full shape. I had no issue with a smell from the foam.The cover is soft and comfortable. The sloped side for the knee has a good angle and the microfiber actually helps hold an ice pack under the knee! The microfiber can collect a little heat under the cast in summer, though having ice at my knee was enough to keep me comfortable. There are two handles on the front of the bolster that lets you adjust the position while keeping your leg in place, it’s very user friendly.There are zippers to be able to remove the cover for easy cleaning though I have not had to machine wash it yet. And it has a handle on the side of the bolster to carry it around like a briefcase. The details were really well thought out in the design!!The one disappointing issue I experienced was from the sewing. Unfortunately, one of the front handles was not sewn on properly and 10 days post-op I had the cover off to try to hand stitch it back in place. It was a fairly quick fix, but I was still frustrated that I had to do it at all.The first time I had surgery on this leg, I was unprepared and had to rely on pillows and folded blankets to keep my leg elevated. The pillows roll, the blankets are awkward to move, the ice packs fell off, it was a mess. This bolster made my second surgery a lot easier. I highly recommend this to anyone in a similar situation!
