Are Sharpie's alcohol ink markers?

Sharpie Permanent Markers contain an alcohol based ink.

Anyone know what to expect in terms of coverage? (Purchased a pricier set and several pens ran out out after my 4th 5"x7" drawing.)

I was given a set of 45 last August for my birthday. Im a very frequent drawer and colored. My markers are still going. There are some that are on the last leg but they are the ones I use most often. I love sharpie sets!!

Is sharpies good for coloring in coloring books?

They have coloring books specifically for sharpie markers

Why did they stop making the brush point sharpies ? They were great and my onlly one, 10 years old in orange, still works great.
