Save $250 over arp
Great stud kit. One nut wasnโt threaded, ordered a replacement set and all was well. Followed arp instructions, used arp lube. Zero issues.

Use ARP torque specs!
Bought after I watched the guy who tested them on YouTube. All went in great on my LS gen 3 (LM7). Used the ARP torque spec sheet 25-50-70 with ARP lube under the nuts. MAKE SURE TO CLEAN AND BLOW OUT THE BOLT HOLES BEFORE INSTALLING! Will see how long they last; Iโm guessing a long while! And yes thereโs enough clearance for your exhaust manifolds!

Two sets failed!
I've bought 6 sets of these for GM gen3 and gen4 LS motor rebuilds/updates and out of that I have installed 3 of the 6. Out of the 3 sets installed 2 sets have failed now. The heads and block for each build was machined by a reputable shop, verified during build, all the bolt threads were chased, ARP moly lube was used on the studs/washers/nuts, the tightening pattern and procedure was followed and GM performance MLS gaskets were used. While removing the heads for a coolant leak into the crankcase on the most recent I pulled the records and verified final torque was done at 80ftlbs after letting them sit for 15 minutes at the previous spec. So setting the same torque wrench used to install them to peak and backing each one off the highest torque reading was down to 48.6ftlbs. They are not a 180,000psi bolt as stated if they stretched enough to drop 31.4ftlbs plus of torque after just 300 miles. Needless to say the other 3 sets I have will be going in the trash now! Spend the extra money on a better bolt/stud set!!

So far so good
bought them 3 months ago and they are holding up great. Didnt use any loctite. I was worried they may stretch or loosen up but so far nothing.

Arp alternative
Used arp torque sequence for their studs and there lube. Everything tightened perfect. There is someone who tests these on youtube and they compare with arm strength

They worked for me.
For the price one can be skeptical, but they have been great. I didnโt torque them down to 80 as some of these other reviews say they did. But the never stripped, broke, or failed. Engine is still together, running a tsp chopacabra cam. Beat the living daylights out of it in 2024. Great buy for the money.

lube after washer is on.
It is very important that head and washers are clean and oil/grease free. after washer is on the stud then apply small amount of arp lube to threads and bottom of nut. if you lube washer or head surface you will over tighten and possible break studs plus they will not have constant torque load.

Does not fit Chevy V8, LS LM or LQ motors
Does not fit bottom outside head bolt too short does not fit LM motors LS motors or LQ motors. Do not buy for Chevy V8

Very good for the price but...
The torque test channel on YouTube tested these and they scored very high for torque before fatigue especially with cost. I was able to torque my 6.0l aluminum heads HOWEVER, one stud had thread damage from factory and I had to run a die down the threads to cut the threads from factory to be usable. I didn't bother messaging the vendor however but be aware that these are cheaper than ARP by alot and have their own quirks because of that.

These are not worth the price of doing the job twice.
The heads of the nuts are various sizes, not a great thing to see. Some of the studs wobbled when turned in. I took them all out and bought a set of new ones from Fel Pro. All ten of the long studs were too long and all the short studs are too short.
