Atlantic British Ltd. Ignition Lock Switch Retrofit Replacement Kit of QRF000080 with Two (2) Spare Keys for Land Rover Discovery 2 (No Key Programming Required)

It took me about 45 min to install; my only suggestion is to get some graphite powder on the key so it's easier to pull in and out.

This switch was a perfect replacement for my worn out one! Easy installation and it performed exactly as it should. AB is a great company that provides superior parts!

Excellent ignition that replaces the original, which was wearing out. Simple enough to install that my local non Land Rover mechanic could replace the part. Major Major disadvantage. If you ever think you might want a third ignition key, don't buy this one. I'm out to a 100 mile radius in checking with locksmiths to make a replacement key. The ignition comes with two perfectly good keys. But we have two drivers and we like to carry a spare key. I've tried working with gunsmiths and dentists to see if they can make a key. The gunsmith never even answered me. the issue, apparently, is that the key blank is not available in this country, and Atlantic British can't get the manufacturer to provide them key blanks. This means, if I lose a key, I need to replace the ignition in order to have two keys again.

It took less than an hour and a half to install and it works great! No more pushing in to remove the key from the ignition.

Perfect replacement! My Disco2 was having some issues with the key switch (like the key moving at a 20 degree angle while in position 2 on switch). Fits perfectly and dolved all of my issues!

Bought to put on the shelf for a spare.
