WF-2950: Easy setup, no issues, I’m impressed
Arrived yesterday so this is an early review. Will update if I have any issues within the next 6 months.I chose this model printer primarily due to the relative few bad reviews, size, price, Apple AirPrint compatibility and next day delivery as I have urgent docs to sign and post asap. Epsom market this model as a small business printer, not in their home printer range so I expect it to be more durable. So far I’m not disappointed .From unboxing to printing my first document it took just under an hour. The setup was easy, just scan the QR code to download the app then follow instructions on the app. Connecting to Wi-Fi via my BT router was quick and faultless via the app. Most of the time was taken up setting the printing quality but again just follow the instructions and all’s fine. I’m using the demo ink cartridges and laser A4 80gm paper from work, which seems to work well. The screen is too small for me to read the text but not an issue with my reading glasses which I’m always wearing when at my computer. It’s not touch-screen but the buttons either side are large so no issues navigating the screen to get to the functions and settings even with my fat fingers. It’s not silent but not so noisy that it would interrupt an online meeting. B&W printing isn’t fast so not useful for printing large numbers of pages unless you’re in no hurry. No paper tray but it has a paper feeder at the back which is currently holding about 30 sheets and looks like it can take twice that much. Print collector at the front is functional but flimsy; don’t let the cat near it.I have printed docs via Wi-Fi using both my iPhone 12 and HP Elite laptop without installing additional software.I have not tried the copy and scan functions yet so will update if/when I do. I’ve not set up the fax function as I don’t have a landline.First impressions are faultless and exceed my expectations. Finger’s crossed it stays that way.Just one thing I just realised while taking the photos; the Print Counter seems to count sheets, not sides, so if you print double-sided it will count 1.

Great printer
I needed a printer for all the photos of my children that I have on disc. It was fairly easy to set up with instructions at each step displayed on the panel. Unlike other reviews, I had no problems connecting it to the Internet, it found mine straight away. I found it easier to connect to my phone first and then add it to my laptop which was a breeze. I've only printed one letter which was perfect and one photo which I think is too light but I suppose it's trial and error with anything new, I will go through the manual as see if I can rectify the problem through the different settings. The ink cartridges are easy to put into place and are far cheaper to buy than some I've seen. I did buy an xl set of ink cartridges which were reccomended by Amazon at checkout for £15, although I've not used them yet as Epson reccomend that you use the ones that came with the printer first. Overall a great printer at a good price.Would I reccomend to other buyers? 100% yes.

Easy to set up. A bit loud when printing.
Bought this as a replacement for another Epson. It was easy to set up (about 5-10mins). There is an app that follows you through the set up which was nice and easy to follow along.Photocopy function worked well so far (only a few test sheets). Wireless printer function also seems to work well from anywhere in the house, it seems to keep itself on standby so you can print wirelessly from the house without having to go and turn it on first (like my old Epson, which was a bit of a pain really).Double sided printing option has been a bit mixed. Worked fine once... but second time it crumpled and jammed the paper (which was fairly easy to remove).Main concern with it would be the noise when printing. It is quite loud for a printer Id say. Not a massive issue but I was surprised when I heard it.

Awful printer
Absolutely awful!! Used all the black ink it came with sorting the print head problem out (straight out the box) had to replace the black ink twice to sort allignment, first printing job took 5 mins to print out and it was only text! after 40 minutes of setting up and several ink cartidges i realised that this printer is absolutely awful!

Great little printer/scanner/copier/fax machine.
Takes about 30 mins to set up with aligment etc, wifi set easy to up 1st time, linked to iPhone straight away and test printed immediately from my phone, a lot quieter than our previous HP, I like the fact the printer inks are individual to replace and reasonably priced. Scan the QR code on the box and get 3 year warranty, also get the Epson Smart Panel app and control everything from your phone, overall very pleased for under £60 from Amazon.

Would not connect to Wifi
I bought this because I wanted to be able to print wirelessly. The printer was okay - bit rattly, and noisy, but printed okay. However, no matter which way I tried, it would not connect to my Wifi. It was saying ythe Wifi set up was complete, but was not showing on my hub. I have about five devices on my Wifi that have all connected at 2.4 with no issues - no this printer. - it just did not want to know. The LED screen on the front is really quite small, so you need decent eyesight to read what it says on there without using a magnifier. I n spite of the Cons, I think I think I would have kept it had it not been for the Wifi issue, because overall it is not a bad printer for the money. Inks are very cheap if you buy the non-Epson ones from AmazonReturned it and was refunded very quickly. Have now purchased a Canon instead - can also get cheap ink cartridges for the Canon on Amazon from a non-Canon brand, which is good.
