Super easy to assemble, and super sturdy. Shopped a whole lot for the perfect table and chairs. Went to local furniture stores and settled on this table and the 8 chairs that I also bought, but WOW, I did not want to spend the money that the local places wanted to charge me. Was shocked to find this same set on Amazon, and the chairs also, for over five hundred big ones less than the furniture places wanted to charge me. Delivery does require someone to be home for delivery of the table and chairs as they came via freight, which we weren't aware of originally and received the "window of time" the morning of the delivery- which came a few days faster than we first thought. No complaints there except that one of us had to leave work to be home. Love that the leaf stores inside the table when not needed, rather than having to find a place to put it. Love the gray table as it is neutral and for me it is timeless. I wanted the farm style table as I wanted to be able to put all the chairs under the table without struggling to fit the chairs under. I love this table!

I loved this table for the price, size and quality. It’s a beautiful table. Very heavy. Easy to assemble. Comes with long screws and L tool. I scratched mine a little when trying to bring in my house but I don’t mind it. It was very heavy.

We're thrilled with this table. It's sturdy, doesn't show marks easily, cleans up nicely, and we were easily able to put it together on our own. Buying a table on the Internet made me nervous as I hadn't seen it in person, but the color is rustic but classic. One caveat - within it's box when it's shipped, it's extremely heavy. You'll likely want to assemble it right away, as we put it in the floor of our house for a month during renovation, and it was unmovable. The legs alone are very sturdy and weighty. Also, the box took a huge beating due to the dimensions and weight on its way here, but Ashley Furniture did a great job of packing it and it nicely protected the table. We have the Raylene chairs and tufted bench that go with this line, and plan to buy a wine rack, as well. It's quality-made furniture for a great price.

I was definitely hesitant to buy a table without seeing it first in person, but once we got is set up it looks great. It is very sturdy (as are the matching chairs which we also purchased on here) and appears to be well made. When the box came, it was very beat up and I was not expecting it to be in good shape. After trying to move it inside, I realized at least in part why it the box looked so beat up- this sucker is heavy. I had to recruit my neighbor to help me lift it inside. Once inside, I opened the box and, to my relief, it was in overall good shape. There was one chip on the bottom of one of the table legs, but that part is touching the floor and you wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for it. Also the leaf that is embedded in the table had the screws missing, so it didn't stay in. A call to customer service solved that easily and they were very helpful. Now that it is together (assembly is not difficult- the biggest thing is you will need two people to move it), it looks great. We got the matching chairs with it and honestly the set looks like it should cost more than it did. I don't know if it's something we did or if it was just there already, but there is a very small bubble in the finish near where the table comes apart for the leaf in the middle. I had to point it out to my wife, so it isn't very noticeable. We have taken care to keep it covered for daily use so it has held up very well since we got it over 4 months ago. If it wasn't for the missing screws, the chip on the bottom of one of the legs, and the tiny bubble, this would get a 5 star for sure.

I’ve been looking for over the year for the perfect table for my dining room . The table is gorgeous. The built in butterfly leaf is exactly what I wanted it’s a must . This table is very high-quality. I’ve received so many compliments from people that come over they are able to tell it’s high quality. I must say the table is extremely heavy ( which is great) . I am overjoyed with my purchase and that I now have the perfect dining table.

Box was delivered to front porch in a damaged box with one corner exposed. This is 150lbs and impossible to get in the house without lots of help. Delivery did not even ring the doorbell. The tabletop has two areas of defect on one side. It appears as if the saw did not cut straight in those areas. This is too heavy to try to return so will just live with it. Finish appears nice but it is not fully smooth as it has cuts along the tabletop making it slightly rustic look. Did not see that in the sales photo.

The table is perfect for our needs. We have been hunting high and low for an expandable table that won't break the bank. This one looks like our furniture in our bedroom. The "deep scratches" are part of the design (coming from someone who has pieces from the same line). We ordered the table expecting it early. It got delayed twice. I was worried it wouldn't get here in time for Thanksgiving. Luckily, Amazon customer service was great and got my table delivered the day before! No scratches, the box looked a little beat up, but the table was in perfect condition. The video has 10 in plates for reference for how large the table is. It is sturdy and very heavy. It is going to last a long time. Get helping bringing it in if you have them leave it outside. The table length without the leaf is actually 60.25in not 63 like it says. East to put together. Just unscrew the shipping blocks and put on the legs. Took about 15-20 min from unboxing to standing up. The table is great. Perfect for our needs and our many dinner guests.

This is an honest review. From a distance this table looks amazing and the butterfly leaf is awesome. In fact we use this table and we were easily able to seat eight and 10 in a pinch. Perfect width nice and thick, dark rich color, and really really heavy. However we did actually buy those little discs for the bottom feet so that we can move it without putting pressure on the joints of the legs. The table is exceptionally sturdy and heavy, so it should endure the wear of years of gameplay and eating with family. So you ask why do I only give it a three, here were some of the cons, most of them were specifically because of the purchase: So I don't know if Ashley has different stores or countries it makes its tables from. Our friends have this table or version of it and the workings inside that open and use the butterfly extension are all metal, sturdy well made. However this table is made of 2x4s underneath and almost no metal whatsoever. It's almost as though someone stole the inner workings and replace it with the wood, which wasn't explained or in the pictures when I bought the table. There were several things that failed on the table including the little locks that fold the butterfly ends up so you can store it properly. There were huge gouges all over the top of the table from a tool and instead of filling and sanding and then fixing someone just colored them in. I think there were 12 or 14 gouges, so good thing that the top was actually pretty thick. After doing some deep dive research, this table was not a refurbished or returned table but came from an Ashley outlet in Vietnam, and when I tried to return it they would not accept it and had nothing to replace it. So Amazon was able to give me a partial refund if I kept the table which cut the price in almost half, and I decided that I could use my knowledge and understanding of woodworking to fix the table. Which I did. I have yet to fix the gouges but will do so once the varnish starts to wear off and I'll sand the entire table top and then redo it. I've tried to use some special liquid varnish that would make it slick inside and I replaced the locks and the table functions well. I really wanted to give this table five stars and I really wanted a table that was Ashley furniture standard, but someone just repackaged some kind of franken table. A little disappointed. But we love the table from game playing and for eating so I'm not going to live forever and this table won't either
