A Fun, Interactive Twist on the Classic Fidget Toy
The Buffalo Games Pop It Pro brings a whole new level of fun to the classic Pop It toy. With added lights, sounds, and challenges, this is more than just a fidget toy—it’s a full-on interactive game. It’s perfect for kids, adults, or anyone who loves a good sensory experience with an exciting twist. Pros: Engaging light and sound features: The lights and sounds are what set this apart from a standard Pop It. It turns the simple satisfaction of popping into an interactive experience, with lights guiding where to press next. The added sounds make it even more engaging, especially for kids who love toys with sensory feedback. Multiple game modes: The Pop It Pro isn’t just a mindless toy—there are actually three different game modes, which makes it feel like a real challenge. You can play solo, compete for high scores, or just use it to relax. It adds layers of replayability that the regular Pop It can’t offer. Great for sensory stimulation: For those who use fidget toys to help with focus or anxiety, this offers the same satisfying popping experience, but with a new level of engagement. The tactile feedback from pressing the bubbles combined with the visual and audio feedback can help with focus or just be a fun way to de-stress. Durable and portable: The toy itself is well-made and sturdy, so it can withstand some rough use. It’s lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around for on-the-go entertainment. Whether it’s in the car, at home, or during a break at school, it’s easy to pack and play anywhere. Cons: Battery life: Since the Pop It Pro relies on lights and sound, it requires batteries, which can run out quicker than expected with heavy use. Make sure to have extra batteries on hand, especially if your child plays with it often. Sound can be loud: The sound effects can be a bit loud for quieter settings like classrooms or libraries. It would be nice if there was a volume control option or a mute button for more discreet use. However, the lights alone are still engaging, so it’s possible to enjoy the game without sound. Limited for younger children: While the lights and sounds are fun, some of the game modes may be a bit too challenging for younger kids to fully enjoy on their own. It’s definitely better suited for kids aged 6 and up who can follow along with the game patterns. Overall Experience: The Buffalo Games Pop It Pro has been a hit in our household. It takes the simple pleasure of popping bubbles to a whole new level with its interactive features. The game modes keep things interesting, especially for kids who like a challenge. It’s a fun way to pass the time, and it’s a great alternative to screen time, offering the same sensory engagement with a physical activity. Whether you're using it to relax or compete for high scores, it’s a great toy for both fun and focus. Tips for Use: Carry extra batteries: Since the lights and sounds are what make this toy special, it’s worth having backup batteries handy. That way, the fun never has to stop when you’re out and about. Use in moderation: The sounds can be loud in quieter settings, so if you're in a public space, consider muting the sounds or choosing a mode that relies more on the lights. Practice for high scores: The game modes can get competitive, so practice makes perfect! Challenge yourself or your kids to improve your scores over time. --- Overall, the Buffalo Games Pop It Pro is an excellent upgrade from the classic Pop It toy. It’s fun, interactive, and offers more depth with the added game modes, making it a hit with kids and even adults who love sensory toys. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for an engaging, portable game that also doubles as a fidget tool.

Love It! Wish Buttons Were Sensitive Like Knockoffs
I have been buying a lot of these machines from a lot of different makers and suppliers for the holidays as a gift program for indigenous children in Mexico. I purchased this one because I knew it was the name brand, and I figured that it would be decent quality. I will say that out of all of them, this is the one that fits my hands the best. This is also the one that has the best back button for springing the puppets back out again. However, you have to push them with such a force I've broken a nail. So I don't doubt maybe it's easier for a child since they have smaller fingers. However, I wish that the buttons were more sensitive like the knockoff brands because this product would be my choice if you didn't have to press so forcefully when you're playing the game modes. It's also lacking in game mode options there are only three, whereas the knockoffs have four plus usually. It's not a terrible toy it's just overpriced compared to its competitors, unfortunately.

Great game design, but the original sensors can be finicky
Pop It! Pro is a surprisingly substantial little electronic reaction game. It has three distinct modes: Pro Mode, Pop & Pass, and Poppin’ Blitz, so there’s considerably more here than simply pressing random illuminated bubbles. Pro Mode is the main single-player challenge, with 20 progressively harder levels. Pop & Pass turns the same basic idea into a multiplayer pass-and-play game, while Poppin’ Blitz is a short time-attack mode built around clearing and resetting the board as quickly as possible. My main complaint is input registration. Physically popping a bubble does not always mean the toy has registered the press; you sometimes have to push far enough to activate the sensor underneath. This becomes much more noticeable in the faster levels, where a correctly chosen bubble can still effectively behave like a missed input. That aside, the underlying game design is excellent. It has a much higher skill ceiling than its appearance suggests, saves useful progress/high-score information, and has kept me coming back to improve my runs. Later electronic Pop It! toys improved the input feel, but the original Pro is still a very good reaction game and an interesting starting point for the whole line.

Love
My 12 month old loves this stupid thing. A friend of mine had one and I ended up having to order it. She doesn’t play the game obviously but it’s great for keeping a small child busy. She just pops away. It’s better than the pop it mats because there’s a button on the back that pops them back out with air so it’s easier for really small children

Bad sensors make it annoying to use
My daughter likes it but leaving a bad review because it doesn’t work like it should. Hopefully this helps other customers. The buttons suck. The buttons are 50/50 on whether the sensor will sense that you pressed it so you have to push on a popped button to force the light to go off. Really annoying for a time game. Expect my daughter to hate it in 2 days cuz it’s a poorly made product.

Fun, engaging, and keeps kids coming back to it
Picked this up as something a little different for my son, and it ended up being a bigger hit than expected. Gameplay & engagement: The light-up and pattern feature adds a nice twist compared to a standard pop-it. It turns it into more of a game instead of just a fidget toy, which keeps kids engaged longer. Ease of use: Very simple to pick up and start using. The patterns are easy to follow, and kids can figure it out quickly without needing much instruction. Kid appeal: This is one of those toys that gets used repeatedly. My son keeps coming back to it, trying to beat previous patterns or just playing around with it. Build quality: Feels durable and holds up well with regular use. Buttons respond well, and the popping action feels consistent. What I like as a parent: • Keeps kids entertained without screens • Adds a little challenge and focus element • Portable and easy to take anywhere Sound & lights: The lights are bright enough to see clearly, and the sound feedback adds to the experience without being overly loud or annoying. Minor downside: Like most electronic toys, it may lose some novelty over time, but it still gets occasional use even after the initial excitement. 2-month update: Still gets used, especially during downtime or travel. Holding up well with no issues. Bottom line: If you’re looking for something fun, simple, and a little more interactive than a typical fidget toy, this is a great option. Easy win for kids.

Engaging toy but a bit pricey
These toys are so much fun! Even for adults! My kids love these and it keeps them busy for a long time. A great alternative to devices. Also good for coordination and fine motor skills. It is a good quality toy, but on the more expensive side.

Not worth purchasing for $16
Original was faulty so returned and requested a replacement. The replacement stopped working the second week of playing with it. Should have trusted the negative reviews

Mine is glitchy.
I do it on time and it ends early. I think because for some silky reason this game has software meant to prevent you pressing two thumbs at the same time to pop which is dumb. And it does not work and when your playing it how it wants it makes an annoying that Tut Tut sound and ends early. Has less modes of play on it then the bootlegs. But it feels like it has a nicer case to it then alot of unnoficial ones also you really have to pop the buttons down and like press the very base beneath to get it to register alot of the time so often if you just pop it, it will not register at all. So not the best toy execution wise though the idea behind it was a good one.

Saw this on instagram and had to get it for the kids.
My kids play with the popper pro every day. We recently had one of their birthday parties and every kid wanted to try it. It came extremely well packaged with extra bits to prevent the back button from pressing. When it arrived I played with it and my wife was trying to figure out what all the popping was. My kids are younger 4&2 but they easily understood the mechanics of pushing in the lit poppers and resettling by pushing the back. It is not shown but there is actually volume control on the bottom 3 poppers. My only minor negative and it is very minor is, the sensors for the poppers need to recognize the depression and sometimes if you push too lightly it doesn't register. You just need to push the depressed popper a little more to turn off light and register the push. But it is still very sensitive. This toy is going to be a well oved game as time goes by and my kids skills improve. Don't hesitate to get this toy. It's a huge hit for all ages.
