I bought this after nearly spending £600 on a very similar design. There is no mistaking that this is a cheap and practical item of furniture but overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend. The metal appears to be steel or similar spray painted a Matt gold colour. Assembly is relatively easy, each part is labelled so you can follow along with the instructions, can be done with one person but two is quicker. Sections are locked in with an Allen key, make sure they’re well tightened as the weight of the glass shelves will cause the metal to turn and misalign unless you have secured it properly. Glass cushion pads are also supplied for the glass shelves to sit on. A couple of the screws are visible once fitted which is annoying as they are silver so do not blend in with the gold frame. The shelves are a nice slim design but offer lots of display surface. Generally sturdy, once in please I would be very careful when manoeuvring or you may find it tips. All in all, you can’t complain given the price, it does the job!

This display unit is absolutely fantastic!! 100/10 for the super easy to follow instructions - so easy to built! I bought it on offer and it was well worth the money, my living room looks beautiful with it. I don’t know if it’s the sturdiest of all but who cares, I think it’s gonna last for years to come nevertheless!

Dieses Regal ist eine sehr schöne Sache. Es sieht in natura wertvoll aus, da ein matter, kühler Goldton. Ich habe noch nie eine so gute Baubeschreibung erlebt und konnte das Regal allein aufbauen. Alle Teile sind durch Aufkleber bezeichnet, die Anleitung gibt genaue Instruktionen. Die Qualität ist ohne Makel, alle Bohrungen und Schrauben passen zueinander. Der Aufbau macht Spaß, das Ergebnis ist super :)

Het is een hele mooie rek. Makkelijk in elkaar te zetten en stevig. Ideaal voor mijn plantjes.
