Excellent winner running sock, despite the price
With winter bearing down on us in the upper Midwest, I wanted to find running socks to keep me warm. As I was researching, these cold weather socks from Smartwool were recommended a few times so I decided to order them. After getting over the sticker shock, I have been entirely pleased. I am amazed how well they keep my feet warm despite being relatively thin when compared with my Smartwool and Darn Tough hiking socks. They have good elasticity, staying up on my calf during my runs. I ordered them in black, but was tempted by the blue. Different color options would be welcome. These are definitely a high quality product from a well known company.

My favorite socks!
These socks are not only comfortable, but they keep your feet dry in both warm and cold climates. I've tried other brands, but they aren't as good. While these are expensive, they're worth it. No more stinky feet!

Worth the Money for cold weather runs
Great for winter running. Extra padding at toes and heel make it perfect thickness. I wear with tights so the length is perfect to make sure I have full coverage. This is my second pair so I can tell you they are super durable. Pricy but you will have them until you lose them!

Great for cold weather runs
Had a 10k race in the middle of January and the highs were only around 30 degrees, so I knew I'd need something to insulate my feet. These were great.

Great quality but could be warmer
Good fit, breathable, no blisters. Not as warm as I expected, wish they were a little thicker to keep toes warm when running in winter in Mass. with normal thin running shoes.

Best sock brand
Best socks! They are comfortable, long lasting, not too thick, don’t make me feel too warm or too cold. Somehow they regulate the temperature well. Fit very well.

Warm on cold morning runs
These wools socks are thick like they should be. I use them for my cold morning runs, and since my running shoes have thin upper mesh it keeps my feet as warm as possible. They feel good on my feet as well.

Long lasting and comfortable
My son loves these smart wool socks, I buy him a few pairs every Christmas. He's a GP so wears them for work when he has to be smart and also for his after hours running, walking the dogs around the local hillsides and all the other outdoor adventures required with 5 children of various ages and he says they stand up to a lot of wear and tear and are super comfortable.
