Solid product!!!
Solid product!!! Only complaint is that it does not have the RG11 section on it!! Other wise it works great and is very easy to use

Well worth the price!
Worked on first try. It comes with everything you need. Its important to know the wires are extremely delicate so be gentle and get the wires in correct position. Cut them short before sliding them into the connector. Simple and easier than trying to find someone to come do one small job.

Awesome toolkit, awesome value
Really useful for when you’re installing ethernet at home, or just making an RJ45 cable. The RJ45 connectors it includes are pass-through, so crimping is easy and not a pain. The cut/crimp also comes out nice and perfect, haven’t made any major errors yet. It also includes other useful tools like a cable cutter, and a wire tester (although I haven’t used it yet since I lack the batteries it needs).

Great Tool Kit with One Weakness
I bought this kit to convert my Cat 5e phone lines into ethernet. I figured that I would put RJ45 passthrough connectors on each end and forgo keystone jacks. Well, I learned that was not a good idea after purchasing this toolkit. Overall, this toolkit is a great value for MOST of the items. The connectors and covers are good quality, the tester works as expected, the wire cutter is sharp, and the stripper/punchdown is the MVP of the group. The real loser is the crimper itself, which is why most people buy this kit to begin with. It looks like every other crimper sold on Amazon, but doesn't function correctly (as least mine doesn't). The stripper part on the tool is I'm guessing for Cat 6 cables as it too big for my Cat 5e. The cutter on it works, but the pliers given work better. The crimp part is where this thing falls flat. It seems to work just fine until you actually test out your ethernet cables. The connectors either don't pass data fully or they do and then they don't. I tested this over and over and came to the conclusion that the crimp tool is not crimping uniformly across the connector when pushed down. The gold contacts have markings afterwards where the brown wire connector is more scarred than the orange/white at the beginning. This tells me it is pushing down more on the one end than the other. It seemed that the #8 wire was always randomly working/not working on the tester. I would sometimes get 1Gbps, 100Mpbs, and sometimes it would keep disconnecting. I know it must be the crimp tool as I converted one end to a keystone jack and I immediately saw improvement. I bought a patch panel to use in my media cabinet for the other ends and voila my cable problems are over. Yes, I had the wires in the connectors correctly and everything. This tool just does not crimp the connections correctly with even pressure across the connector (even if it look perfect afterwards). I'm not sure if the gold contacts are being marked too much or not pushed down enough. If you are buying this for the crimp tool, then you may get a faulty one like I did. The other items seems to work great and are worth the package alone (especially the cheap yellow stripper / punchdown tool). I ended up keeping this kit for the other items, but will trash the crimp tool itself. Of course if you want to return one item, you have to return the entire kit and risk getting something else broken. Take your chances on this kit, but don't expect everything to work.

Work as advertise
Kit works great as long as you follow the instructions. It is easy to screw up and make a mistake, but the kid comes with a tester to test your wiring after you have completed the circuit and then you just have to try again if you miss wired your connector best to test a new cable and compare it to the one you made repairs on.

Massive waste of time.
Things seemed great at first; I used this to terminate 4 different drops. Everything tested great, yet I had a lot of unexplained issues; when plugged into junctions and wall plates I would sometimes get tests saying the first pair failed continuity, despite the junction and cable itself testing fine. After wiring everything up, I couldn't establish a connection; my router and computer never were able to negotiate speeds. I was seriously at my wit's end and spend many hours debugging every single inch of cable in the runs. After reading some reviews here with similar stories of the first pair not getting crimped properly I threw in the towel and bought a Klein crimper, tester, and connectors and redid all of my work. It all works properly now, on the first try. It doesn't make sense to me how it was possible for this crimper to make cables that pass continuity checks (even with the Klein tester!) yet fail to pass data. Long story short: don't waste your time. I'll never get all of those hours back, and it was worth it to spend a little bit more to get the job done right the first time.

Great for diy or making a few connections.
I've used this to make over a hundred crimps so far. It's easy to use and the diagram on the side is nice. The tester that comes with it is handy for diy but not the best tester, will let you know if you mis matched wires or a connection is bad but doesn't transmit data speeds and such. For the price is worth it. The tool itself is decent quality and seems pretty durable.
