This book walks students (and teachers) through at a nice guided pace. Includes reference guides that could easily become anchor charts as well as answer keys. It encourages students to go deeper with their writing. It corresponds wonderfully with IXL (even telling the exact skill ID to coordinate with the lesson).

I'm using this book in private tutoring a 3rd grade student. I love the progression of the lessons.

Spectrum 3rd Grade Writing Workbook is an excellent resource for parents and teachers. It has everything the student needs right in the workbook. Students are able to independently start working on writing skills. Great practice for summer and in the classroom.
