I find used books are the best value out there and this one didn't disappoint. It was a new condition and it's a great little cookbook small format nice pictures very pleased

I bought the Kindle version. I should have gotten in paperback or hardcover. It is a bit hard to use as an ebook.

Best cookie book EVER! A huge variety and all made with good ingredients--butter, eggs, etc, NOT shortening and gelatin! Easy to follow directions and the cookies have nicely written histories. Cannot recommend this book any higher!!A good book for beginners and for people have been baking for longer especially she includes pretty much every cookie I can think of or would ever want to bake with very clear directions. All this for a great price.

Sadly, this is is a wholly unusable book. It is poorly indexed. The pictures are not with the recipes - they are in a separate section. The pictures are numbered by recipe not by page number so you have to go back to the index to find the page number after looking at picture. (Sounds confusing? It is.) And forget about finding a picture after locating the recipe first!Bound as it is it does not lie flat. And the pages are too small to slip under things to hold them open.The recipes that we have made are fine, but the book is just to awkward to be practical.Stick with Betty Crocker.

A gift for my mother, a baker forever. She found interesting recipes she'd never heard of, variations on others, and she is enjoying it very much. However: The book is a very small soft-bound volume, not as user-friendly as I hoped it would be.

This book is great for beginners and experts alike. I bake often, but was looking for several old-time recipes I hadnt been able to find elsewhere. They are in the Field Guide. A great resource!

It's really as all-inclusive as it sounds!The book contains delicious recipes for every cookie I've been able to think of... and then some! Very satisfying.P.S. Small size is great for travel!

Gave two as gifts and kept one. I had most of the recipes but it is a very neat book to have
