Finally a solid spatula that you can use without it conforming to everything it touches!
Totally love this spatula. I understand the benefit of silicone and have many silicone spatulas, but they are not rigid enough to be a real turner. I have pans that I choose to not use metal spatulas and that means that i'm left with some 20 year old spatulas because I cannot find adequate replacements for them. This one is better than my trusty old non-slotted spatulas. The handle is much shorter, but that doesn't really bother me. The nylon that is used in these is VERY hard and stiff and it's perfect for what I use these types of tools for (pressing and turning burgers, cutting lasagne and serving it... etc.). I bought two of them and love them already enough to retire all of my old ones.

Very good product
The OXO Good Grips Nylon Griddle Turner is a great kitchen tool. The size is great for serving lasagna and large portions. It's easy to clean and heat resistant and doesn't scratch my cookware.

Love this!
This is a great turner/spatula. Very well constructed and easy to grasp. I like the handle being on the shorter side because you have better control. This is so sturdy that it’ll last a lifetime! Of course it’s OXO so that explains everything. I find the majority of everything they make to be high quality. You can always trust that brand. If you’re buying OXO you’re buying the best in my opinion. That being said I would highly recommend buying this. I own many different kitchen tools and gadgets by them and like them all. Don’t waste your money on other brands. Also I’m petite and have very small hands. The handle on this is big but I can still grasp it fine.

Excellent lasagna server
One of two nylon turners that I purchased at the same time. I thought some reviewers had indicated it was on the small size. I don't agree, but non-quantitative size is subjective. It's advertised as a lasagna "Turner," although I would say server, and for that job, it is perfect. You can serve large squares/rectangles of lasagna quite easily with this turner. It slips into the casserole easily and holds up to a hefty serving. It's nylon so it may required a little scrubbing along the edge to remove food residue. So far, I haven't tried the dishwasher but certain you could without issue.

Only lasted 10 years before one broke
Bought two of these about 10 years ago according to Amazon. One finally broke. I use these for EVERYTHING. Burgers, eggs, pancakes, scraping the bottom of a pan for burnt bits because I left the food cooking unattended for too long. Never hand washed, throw them in the dishwasher and forget about it.Finally after a decade one gave up and snapped at the joint where the handle meets the blade. So I'm buying another. That's a win in my book. 10 years for something that is constantly heated, cooled, used to chop semi-frozen meat, and otherwise neglected in terms of being gentle or cared for seems good in my book.

Sometimes, you need a no-flex flipper!
Why get these turners? We have a couple of the thinner, slightly arched, floppy food turners and they're fine for eggs or pancakes or other featherweight fare. These are different:They are more rigid, designed to stay quite straight when lifting and turning more substantial foods like cutlets or chops or fish fillets. Get yourself a couple of these if you are tired of watching your floppy turner bend and drop the food back into the skillet or baking pan. These keep their shape and don't drop your food!
