Does the case go on before the screen protector?

The case can go on before or after the screen protector. I replaced the screen protector after putting the new case on because I banged the screen on something… I was able to put the new screen protector on without taking the case off.

why are ther 2 screen protectors?

It just a bonus. It is nice to have a backup. I am still using my original screen protector - my original case broke not my screen protector. It is the best phone protector that I have ever used. I am hard on my phone so I am happy to have the extra screen protectors.
