We have a Meta Quest 3 and it's a lot of fun, but since we have one for all my kids to share (and me!) the battery always gives out on us before everyone has had a turn, which inevitably leads to fights. This is a great way to easily add an extra battery and give you a lot of extra play time It's not heavy, and clips directly on to the meta quest so you can still play without cords and wires getting in the way.

It works well. You just have to force it a little to put it on, but once it's on, it stays put. More playtime for my son!

Battery works great, isn't too heavy so very little neck strain. Only downside is a slight ringing sound that it emanates during use.

This thing has been very nice, allowing me to stay in vr for an extra few hours! It's easy to quickly attach to the headset and plug in. Light, can't even tell it's there. Definitely worth the purchase.

I have a quest two and lets just say the batteries aren’t what they used to be, granted I do play games that take up quite a bit of gigabytes my VR generally only get’s me though a round or two of game play (About an hour or hour and half). As fellow VRer’s can attest when you find a great groups it’s hard to sign off, because at least for me it’s rare. This charger has never run out for me or gotten to zero battery (I played Star Wars which was awesome! And you averaged about two hour per chapter and I was so addicted I spent the longest I ever have on VR-6 hours!) I still easily had over 40% left in these battery. Also VR headsets can be a little heavy and this nifty little charger does not weight down the device an insane amount. You can totally tell it’s there don’t get me wrong, but it’s better than the in system battery running out on me. I find battery life is one thing that quest has struggled with and as quest 2 continues to become more and more outdated the battery seems to hold a charge less and less, but that comes with any electronic over a long period of time. I bought the unit ions ago and I am honestly still surprised it’s still working as well as it is. Someday I will have to make the jump to the next version, but I want to hang on to mine for as long as possible. (Also meta has amazing customer service when I began having an issue with my first one where the unit would not turn off until it died they replaced the unit no question’s asked and that spoke volumes to me about the company.) That aside this charger unit I have bought for multiple people in my family that have a VR and they will never go back to solely relying on the unit. It’s a must buy for me.

*Edit* Replacement came today and works perfectly! There was a slight static sound for maybe half a second, is that much, when I first turned it on, but it hasn't been back since. Turns out the first one was defective after all, and while it still did what it was supposed to do, I could absolutely not deal with the static/buzzing sound. *Added Bonus* Using this battery pack has kept the front of my Quest 3 from heating up as much as it used to. Don't know why, but I'm happy with it. ----------------------------- *Original* Firstly I want to say I love this thing. Played an hour of Shardfall, Quest 3 battery went from 100% to 94%. My Quest 3 in particular would go from 100, down to around 10 in the same amount of time just from browsing the settings menus. so it's definitely doing it's job. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the second I turned it and my Quest on, the battery began emitting a loud static/buzzing sound directly into my left ear. I don't know why - I thought maybe it'd go away after a bit, but after an hour, it still hadn't subsided. It is incredibly irritating. I don't see many mention it in other reviews so I'm hoping it's just defective. I'm going to order a replacement and update this review then.

it only adds about 10 minutes to my battery life so its sorta sad and useless
