Sturdy and very protective! Love the colors as they help you remember which knife to grab from the drawer without rummaging thru everything.

Bought this for a few knives I keep in a drawer but the draw they reside in is not deep enough to be kept in a knife holder that goes inside a drawer as it requires the knives to be stored vertically.So this was the next best thing in that I can protect the edge while they lay on their side in said drawer, which also stores other items as well.They come in various lengths for various knives and I use one for my butchers knife and a cheap Santaku knife and I think that's it.Works well I might add.

These guards are transparent, so it is easy to find the knife you want. The knife slips easily into the guard and does not require strenuous effort to pull the knife out. The colors also help to locate the desired knife. Love these and bought a second set, after sending back a different set that I did not like at all.

I like to keep my knives in a drawer. These keep them safe and very accessible.

Great knife guards in every way. As soon as they arrived (and I'd ordered 2 packs), I put them on all my knives. Great fit on each and very secure. I am completely happy and satisfied and would recommend the Ergo Chef Universal Knife Edge Guard Set to anyone. These blade guards are a decent solution to protecting blades, but not a great one. The reason being is that the guards leave marks on all the blades I've tried to protect. The plastic is somewhat brittle, which makes the fit very tight and makes the guards harder to clean. Water gets stuck inside that you must let air dry, which takes a while because the slit is so thin. I couldn't even get a paper towel inside the gap. If you don't let the guards dry completely, you may end up seeing rust on your blades. While this was not the case with me, it seems like the plastic rubs against the blades to the point where it leaves marks.Because of that, I only use these with knives I don't use that often. I wouldn't recommend these for knives you might use daily that you store in a drawer.
