I have been following Tom Hougaard for a long time, and I was excited when he announced the launch of this book. There is an 8-part YouTube video series of Tom where he speaks at a broker's conference about developing a trading mindset. This book is 70% a transcript of that video series with almost the same examples with more background about Toms's initial trading journey, and how he went on to become a high-stakes trader. This book starts with the journey of Tom, how he got into the world of trading, the initial struggles he faced when he went out to trade on his own, and how he blew up his account in less than two years. He later goes on to work at a brokerage firm where he discovers why >90% of traders lose money in a fair game like trading. This book is a MUST-HAVE for all those who are "serious" about the finance world. I cannot recommend it enough. Tom will go down in history for sharing such invaluable psychological insights which hardly anyone talks about. It's just strategies & short-cuts that sell everywhere. This book is a real gem!

This book is what you need exactly if you have been trading for long without much success and without proper understanding of the mindset required for trading successfully.

I read this book after having a bad year in the market , i was new and took random trades for almost 6 months and now i can read the market and its trends almost 60% correctly but still not profitable . This book has helped a lot to control my emotions while trading . I am not perfect as of now in this game but yes , this book helped me a lot . Thanks TOM

This book doesnt talk about strategies which generally is the hot topic now, but it has details about right mindset to start trading or investing. There are very good example to explain real life situation of a trader during the market. I think one should consider reading this book to understand how to control your thoughts while trading.
