Provides protection, easily installed
Screwed on perfectly to my boat's (new) circuit breakers, providing the desired weather protection. I am not sure why my 2006 Lund Explorer SS with the exposed breakers on the console did not come with these in the first place. I found out the hard way that these are needed to protect the breakers from the elements. I opened up a failed breaker that was not protected by these to find corrosion and rust inside. After replacing all of the breakers, I installed these boots to prevent a future problem. These are an inexpensive worthwhile investment.
