It's a ruler,nice to use. It's made of plastic but is lightweight, you will have to be careful not to snap it as its not a strong shatter proof type, other than that it's nice to use. Not really suitable for rough use with kids, but OK to use for occasional use.

This ruler was purchased for my son, and he is very pleased with it. Its foldable design is a significant advantage, as it fits conveniently into a pencil case and eliminates concerns about breakage. I can confirm that it is quite sturdy when extended, to the point where you won't even realise it is foldable.
