Definitely worth paying extra for this rather than the cheap flaky models. This a complete and well designed ringer. It has all the basic features and control you'd expect, and its very loud at full volume.The volume control has 3 levels plus silent. The tone is adjustable from low pitch to high pitch so you can find the right pitch for the hearing impaired person.It has 2 phone jacks, in and out. So you don't need 2 jacks or a splitter. But it will also work when plugged into a different jack than the phone (e.g. in a different room). It even includes a phone cord.Doesn't need a battery, it gets power from the phone line.Has screw clips on the back for mounting on a wall and comes with a piece of double sticky mounting pad

My gf has some hearing loss in the high freq. range and could not hear the ringer on the new phones (landline) I got for her because they had the smart call block. I thought this would be the answer since she really likes the new phones. Connected this, set volume on high and tone on low - nothing at all to her and I didn't think were that loud either. This so called "Super Loud Phone Ringer" is not even loud as the Vtech phones we're trying to replace. I was very disappointed in this product. Returned it and also the phones.

For residential, it's pretty loud. For a commercial garage/shop, no. If you have any equipment running, you probably won't hear it. For the price, it's a well-made, easy to install unit. If you need something truly SUPER LOUD, then you'll need something with its own power supply.

I bought my father a landline phone with caller ID. He didn't like it because he said it was too quiet and that he couldn't hear it from outside. I purchased this product to try and fix that. I am very happy to report that it is very loud. It has 4 different volume levels. The tone setting is analog and can be varied within its range.I may have missed it but I didn't see that a cable was included. I purchased one but found out that it does come with its own cable. It is very easy to install and no batteries are needed. I am completely satisfied with this product.

My Dad works in a loud shop behind his house but when there, can not hear the phone ring. He connected this and now - calls are not missed! He had no issues connected it either. Not expensive and I feel like I got a great deal! It's great!

The sound intensity is really good. We work in an environment that is noisy, but we can easily hear the phone ringing now.
