This kit is amazing, more led lights than you will ever need. Depending on how much power you use, the brightness is pleasant to look at.

Perfect to fix Christmas lights.

I made a mistake. I put too many of these into a project. The clear LEDs are SUPER BRIGHT. I felt like a deer in headlights on a highway, and they looked like Hollywood at night. Just warning you in advance! I put the blue ones into a sign with 2 generic batteries in July and turned them on, and it's December. Still going. Great for projects! These are the 5 mm standard size. You want long lasting, bright color LEDs for your project? You're in the right place.

First, I’ll admit to being an electronics component kit junky. Having the parts on hand for any project you want to is an awesome thing. I already have multiple LEDs in a drawer but I thought it would be good to have an organized collection with all the basic colors I’d want to use and this seem to fit the Bill. I bought both the 3mm and 5mm kits, and tested at least one of every color. Each was bright with a very nice color hue. Plastic cases are fine and keep the colors separated while being slim in design. This is a really handy assortment of quality LEDs to have ready for any project.

Decent quality, nice container. Nicely labeled. Blew up a few in testing but that was my fault. Tolerances are as listed in the material and are fairly accurate. Would buy again.

Nothing to dislike, these LEDs are super bright. They are the best bang for my money or your hard earned $$$. I designed an LED sign that required over 500 LEDs of varying colors that are connected in a series parallel array at 12 volts and 15 milli amps. The forward voltage specs had a Vfe range which meant that my design calculation to make the LEDs at the same brightness at 15 ma could vary. I connected 4 LEDs in series and found the average Vfe at 15 ma. This average Vfe remained constant given another 4 sets of 4 LEDs in series. Perfect! I ran out of red LEDs and needed to reorder another bundle box of LEDs. Amazon raised the price and a quick email to the mfg regarding the increased cost. The mfg refunded the difference which made this a 6 star rating. Thanks ... The LEDs were packaged quite nicely and the empty plastic container made for a perfect storage box for my current limiting resistors.

No complaints with these LEDs but they are very, very bright. Make sure to pick an appropriate resistor. At 5V I felt even a 2.2K ohm resistor left the LED still a bit too bright for normal use. They do not run hot or anything and seem to hold up well in various projects I've done, so it was a good deal. So far no duds in the box either. I would say these are somewhere between clear and diffused and don't fit in either category. The color quality is consistent across parts.
