I use these as display boxes for radioactive mineral specimens. They're thicker than the usual Perky box, which I've found is helpful for cutting down on radiation. With these, essentially all alphas and betas are stopped, leaving only gammas to deal with. Also these boxes are clear on all sides, which makes for excellent viewing! I'm very happy with this purchase :-)

The product was fine and met my expectations. I was very disappointed that the seller just sent the order in the flimsy thin-wall cardboard box instead of a sturdy heavy-wall shipping box. Several of the acrylic boxes were cracked and are not suitable for display. I had to throw way 4 of the 18 boxes. Another 5 boxes are cracked but still usable. Make sure to order more boxes than you need.

I was a bit worried as things like this often break in shipping, but these were wrapped individually in bubble wrap in a box, and then that was put in a box for shipping. Not one box was damaged in any way. Only negative (very slight) they are slightly tapered, not truly cubes, ut for my purpose that was unimportant. now I'm ordering more.
