Good value but reviewers are accurate when they say these are not universal sizes
I bought this set to use on my wood lathe as a drum sander between a dead center and a live center. For that purpose these are great.Even after reading other reviews I gambled and ordered some replacement sandpaper cylinders. No dice. As a previous reviewer stated, these are an odd size that nothing seems to fit. That being said, I have a few rolls of adhesive backed sandpaper sold by an automotive paint supplier on Amazon that I wrapped around the rubber drum barber pole style and it sticks just fine, so I'll get a lot of use out of these cylinders. For my purpose I don't think I could get this setup any cheaper so I'm pleased.

Great drum sanders!
The sleeve on the largest drum was too big so elecrical tape was needed around the drum for it to fit. Most brands of sleeved dont fit the drums so I get replacements directly from shopfox. This is still great to have for sanding bandsaw boxes.UpdateMy house burned down so I bought a second set and it is much better. The second set includes solid drums instead of each being made up of three interlocking pieces and the sleeves fit perfectly! Replacement sleeves are easy to find here on Amazon (just search Woodstock hard sanding sleeves).

Get it!
If you have a Shop Fox Drill Press, you have to get this tool assessory! It's worth getting, as it allows you to have both a drill press but an oscillating sander! And the Shop fox even has a dust port for when you're using these spindles. Besides, you end up saving both money and space in your shop by not needing to purchase another tool. Thereby leaving funds for other tools ;)

Great buy
Going to make detailed sanding a lot better. Gave it a quick test run when I got my drill press set up and can tell it’s going to to be a huge difference in my knife making

3 piece drums
This may not be an issue if I was using the drums for the intended purpose, but I was planning on cutting each of the drums in half to make two smaller drums. I was disappointed to find that each "individual" drum is made up of 3 drums parts 1.5" in length that fit together to make up the stated 4.5" advertised length.

Not True To Size
These drum sanders do the job just fine, but they are not true to size! I discovered this when I purchased a new set of sanding sleeves. The 2" drum is actually 1-7/8", the 1-1/2" drum is 1-3/8", and the 1" drum is 7/8". What's up with that? The packaging is clearly marked as containing 2", 1-1/2", and 1" drums. Did Shop Fox make a mistake and package the wrong sizes? Has anyone else encountered this? If all of the drums are undersized by 1/8", where do I purchase the sleeves? I guess I'm going to have to get creative and come up with some kind of a shim-drum wrap thingamawhatsit... "Where's my duct tape?!" Oh, and the washers could have been a bit more substantial.
