DEWALT Jigsaw Blades Set with Case, T-Shank, 14-Piece (DW3742C)

Purchased this set for my husband for his new toy, the DeWalt jigsaw. He only used the wood blade so far, but he is very impressed. Easy to put on/take off. The storage box is great to hold all the blades and have room to hold a few more. He cut several wood pieces to fix the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The cuts were accurate and function as they should be. Great value for this pack. Time will tell how durable these blades are.

I resisted doing this for a long time but I bought this for the case only. It's a very handy case to have - takes up a little more room than the telescoping ratchet tubes I use (plastic like come with some tooling and drill bits) but it's easier to segregate them for easy pickin'. DeWalt blades are only so-so. I really don't care for them but they work. The metal blades don't last nearly as long as other quality blades and aren't as sharp to begin with. The construction/lumber blades are ok and they are thicker than what you usually see with other brands, which can be an advantage. The sliding latches on the case will loosen up quickly, so plan on a ranger band or hair tie to put around it as insurance in a tool bag. If you can find old stock, you may find this same case (blue) in a set from Lennox (which used to come with better blades in it, too). Wish the case were sold separately!

I’m still using these blades , do handyman projects every day, these cut the time in half , no pun intended, lol

Now after having the opportunity to use the blades, I found them to be great, and although a little expensive like most Dewalt tools, they're well worth the cost.
