I keep having problems with this not feeding the sheets through properly - they keep getting crinkled around the edges and folding in the machine.

I was having the same issues. This answer from 2014 solved my problems! You have to shove it all the way up. "Check that the reverse lever at the back is in the correct position, it gets knocked easily and causes it to stop/ back up & get ruined." Dan · October 2, 2014

Are the resulting laminated items stiff or really flexible? I usually laminate at Kinko's and the results are a harder laminate

Just buy lam sheets in different thickness. 3 mil is thin and flexible. The 10 mil is thick and rigid when done. There's also a 5 mil on the market. Assuming the machine has heat settings for 5 and 10 mil.

Can you laminate numerous pages one right after another or do you need to wait? Need to laminate about 22 pages. Thanks!

Short answer is yes, I have done 30 pages with no problem. I run a page and while its going I set the next one up. Might be a few seconds in between but thats about it, no waiting.

Will this AmazonBasics laminator work with other brand laminating pouches? Has anyone tried this for example with the smaller Scotch brand pouches?

Any "hot" laminating sheets are supposed to work. I use the "Universal" brand ones that I bought from Amazon and they work great. There are several sizes. The one I use most often is model 84642 which are business card size.
