I quickly replaced the shredded south-facing window screens with this new screen. It installed perfectly. The included spline and the handy tool were very much appreciated, as were the simple instructions. I bought the polyester because it's supposed to be more durable in harsh conditions. The windows look real nice with this screen replacement. And the price is very reasonable. I will definitely buy this again, when needed.

Outstanding kit I like the plastic tool better than my rollers

Replaced my old screen due to kitty scratches. This one seems tougher but the cats haven’t tested it yet. I had a professional replace a screen door with cat resistant screen and it was thicker and darker (and cost $140). It is great at not tearing but I want this one to match the rest of my windows and it does. It was easy to install, came with spline and pushing in tool. It was a little hard to stretch to get the wrinkles out but was able to do it after a couple of tries.

This is a kit. The mesh product was fine, but the description did NOT mention that the package included (in addition to the mesh) 35 feet of 0.14" diam spline, and a plastic two-ended (convex/concave) spline tool. I separately bought and opened spline which I did not need, but it was higher quality so I used it, rather than what was in the kit. I already owned a metal spline tool, which was much better quality than the flat plastic tool included in the kit. One can use the kit's spline and spline tool, but it's not going to give as great a result as I had.

I bought this screen mesh to replace my patio door screen after my cats tore up the original one. I wasn't expecting it to be completely indestructible, but I’ve been genuinely impressed by how well it has held up. After several months of use, there are a few snags and some very small tears, but that is with 12-pound cats repeatedly climbing all the way up to the top of the screen. Considering that level of abuse, it has performed much better than I expected. It still looks decent and has stayed functional, which is more than I can say for the previous screen. For normal use, I think this would hold up very well. For a home with cats, it is not totally claw-proof, but it is much tougher than standard screen material in my experience. I liked it enough that I bought extra to use when my window screens need replacing, too. Five stars from me.

I loved it! It was so easy to install it. It only took me 15 mins to replace the old one. I have a car and a dog. They opened a little window for themselves to go on the balcony nd it was time to change it. It came with the tool too. I just love it. It looks great and clean.

I bought this in color gray thinking it would work good since I have a light grey deck. Nope! Not the case at all. It make everything look very dull like a haze over window pane. I should have bought the black.
