Exact fit for Mazda 5 2010

I've used this filter on a 2011 Mazda 3 twice now. The first time I used it was when I did the initial flush and fill service. Mazda used adhesive to affix the transmission pan to the transmission housing which required scraping and cleaning but once that was complete, the provided gasket went on without any issues. The first time installing this and running it, was no issue and neither was the second. Upon the second time for a flush and fill service I dropped the pan again and inspected the gasket. It was in very good form but had cracked on the exposed sides not sandwiched between the transmission housing and the transmission pan. This was just exposure to the elements and seasons and did not go as far into the actual pan area as to cause any hairline cracks, it was just weathered but the main gasket material on the inside that made the seal was 100% perfect with no leaks. The first service was several years prior and the second and most recent service to the transmission was done due to the lower cost for the unit while still offering a name brand filtering solution and the install was simple. Just make sure you have a pan underneath to catch all the fluid still in the filter when you pull it down. The provided gasket goes on dry, and make sure your mating surface on the transmission housing is dry and clean as well. The torque on the bolts for the transmission pan may need to be tightened a bit more than if you opted to install without a gasket, but once you get an even low torque on each bolt all the way around and work your way up to hand tight snug, your set. Overall the Mazda 3 that this filter was installed in has done great with this filter and should I ever have to flush and fill a third time, I will be using this same part again for it.

Fit my 2012 Mazda 3 transmission perfectly. My only complaint is the gasket was misshapen from being shipped folded up.

The package arrived in perfect condition with everything listed ( the filter and the gasket ). It fit perfectly and gave me no problems. This is a good purchase if you're going to change it yourself.

I like the silicon gasket that comes with it, it's better than a cork or the liquid gasket some people use. This is a quality filter that installs easily. My transmission pan gasket stayed in place with all 18 bolts kept in place by the gasket as I guided it into position.

Perfect fit and had the proper mounts for the sensor.
