Best friends Mia and Mel (Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne) are living their best lives running their own cosmetics company they’ve built from the ground up. Unfortunately, they’re in over their heads financially, and the prospect of a big buyout offer from a notorious titan of the cosmetics industry Claire Luna (Salma Hayek) proves too tempting to pass up, putting Mel and Mia’s lifelong friendship in jeopardy. The beauty business is about to get ugly. BONUS FEATURES Review: Vulgar in Ways That Add Absolutely Nothing to the Content - Seriously, we have to do better. Seeing Tiffany Haddish in these one dimensional, stereotypical roles over and over again is tiresome. Yeah, she can be funny. But her comedic style borders on minstrelsy when unaccompanied by any meaningful content. There was none in this movie. It was just awful. Review: Funny story - Funny story although a bit over the top perhaps? Then again it is a film and so they can do precisely what they want.
