Danner 12746 Replacement Impeller for Model 9.5B Pump

Replacement impeller for Danner Manufacturing, Inc., Supreme 950 GPH Hydro-Mag, Recirculating Water & Air Pump with Venturi, 40129. Looking for the correct one was a little challenging because descriptions were a little unclear. However I found the right one. This one fit perfectly and saves me from purchasing a whole new pump. I’m using this to support an Oase skimmer. A small skimmer for a small-medium koi pond. It’s been working quite well till the impeller broke. But it’s back in business. Produces enough water flow to power the skimmer. Made a great difference helping me catch leaves.

One of the many things I love about this brand is the easy replacement of parts when they do wear out. While pumps may be a bit more than others initially, the replacement parts are inexpensive and easy to replace.

Did the trick. The porcelain shaft on my old pump was broken, and this fix it after I was thinking I was going to have to throw it out. The pump itself never ran well (I bought it used with my aquarium), but the new impeller made it run like a champ! It's a pain that porcelain shaft can break so easy, but I'd rather have that as the point of failure (as it is designed to be) than to have the pump itself seize, however it's still a pain so I'm knocking off a star for that.

Works great, original had 6 blades now I am thinking this one had 4 blades but maybe wrong. pump is now quiet as if it was brand new. water flow much better. Now I know to keep an eye on it and check every so often. Only gripe is that wish it was possible to replace instead of entire impeller only parts of impeller. In my case impeller was fine except for the shaft. You know we could drop a little glue and not need to replace the magnet body and prop, although i assume the magnet body is like $20 and the rest is $3.

Pump is up and running perfectly. The description was correct for the pump. Fit right into the housing.

I inherited a fish pond when I purchased my house a few years ago. The outflow was ok, but not 950 gallons per hour that the pump was rated for. Still it circulated the water just fine and I left it alone. Over the winter, the pump stopped and I had thought it had burned out from years of use. I took it apart and found no obstructions and thought that this pump was really shot. A replacement pump was $120, which caused a little sticker shock, so I decided to try an impeller replacement instead. Am I impressed! My pump must have been on the downhill slide for years, because the blast of water that I got out of that old pump was huge! It was easy to replace, just take the front of the motor off, take the old impeller out and pop the new one in. Screw the plate back on and you're in business.

Perfect replacement cartridge with every moving part. The failure mode is that the little ceramic rod breaks - but not often - our last one lasted twenty years on an outdoor fountain that's on 24/7.

Worked perfectly in the pump. Easy to install.
